Next years election will bring clarity to where the country stands. I see a big Labour win and that will really Excelerate the demise of English culture. You must all be so very excited about it. Funny thing is Darlis Debs will be one of the first to cry and complain when her daughters fall victim ti what’s coming. But hey unvontrolled mass immigration that allows millions of haters in is the right thing to do. I reckon most of the fuckwits on this board will be singing a completely different tune within the next 10 years.

But the point is, all the foreigners and diversity you blame for you uselessness are here because the effective people realise what Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday are all about even if you haven’t got a scooby."

"I think we need to consider if we are taking enough responsibility for some of the wars that are going on around the world right now. Not just us but the USA too. I'm not saying that Russia, Hamas, Israel are justified in doing what they are doing but so many looking at this from a perspective of high authority on what is right and humane and yet in allot of these instances, the actions of the West have directly or indirectly influenced these wars."

"...""the normal people will be observing Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday""... would suggest that the author and owner of that statement is claiming that anyone who does not observe Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday is not normal. Take a bow, all pro-Palestinian/Hamas protestors, take a bow. ""Educated"" bloke in Poland said that."

"Like I say, its important politicians and generals do this so they know what they are doing the next time. The author Nassim Taleb wrote a book called skin in the game where he says that ""actors"" must bear the consequence of their actions. He also says in his excellent book Antifragile "" If we are alive today, its because someone somewhere took a risk for us in the past'."

I have a mate down the pub who was on Sir Galahad. I've been to my great uncle's grave in Belgium. I don't feel a need to mourn anyone but I understand why politicians and generals might.

"BRANDED 1:50 Fri Nov 10 I have an uncle who died in The Falklands and is buried in Port Stanley; don't really need to add the skin of uncles I never knew lost in the Two World Wars (And the Korean conflict) for me to pause and reflect (or, at least, give the impression I'm reflecting). Having a common day for others living in the country to do the same thing seems pretty reasonable, to me, for the whole population to go along with. If you don't agree, simply stay out of the fucking way for a few hours rather than try and fuck it up for those who don't happen to share YOUR views."

"OX Good point. Do you have ""skin in the game?"" or are you just doing your usual virtue signalling to your mates until the next cause for which you have no skin in the game comes along. On this basis I have plenty of sympathy for anyone with friends or loved ones at peril or indeed who have been injured, kidnapted or killed."

", 12:49 Fri Nov 10 I have - several times, but admittedly in my younger days of long ago when, for a couple of years on the bounce I was part of the Sunday parade. I may well have been an insolent and obnoxious brat, but I know how and when to respect the memory of my countrymen who paid, in most cases, the ultimate price (for me to be an insolent and obnoxious brat). A common few hours respect every year for those sacrifices is not too much to ask, is it? Too be honest, I'd have more respect for the marchers/protesters if they ALL went to Gaza and offered themselves to Hamas as replacements for the human shields already lost. Prove they're the equal of the fallen."
