"Willtell wrote... I just read about the 300,000 protesters in London to stop the war. I absolutely agree that. The British government should stop the war now! Well here's 1 protester that wants the war to carry on until every Hamas member is dead. And after that every Hamas leader holed up in luxury in Doha or anywhere else is assassinated. And no, I don't care how many people are killed along the way. Hamas started it. Israel will finish it. And by the way, the opinions of the British government and British public carry zero influence on the outcome - but by all means they can march away to their hearts content if it makes them feel better. They can thank Israel later for defending the democratic freedoms that they haven't the stomach to do themselves."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Hamas / Iran both want Israel blown off the map and there is no way Hamas will go to any negotiation table and to be far Israel now don’t want that either, simple because what ever peace / ceasefire is put in place Hamas will used this with the backing of Iran to build even stronger."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Exeter After a quick Google myself, israel is quoted to have said from an Al Jeezera website of all places: 'An Israeli army statement said the air strike had targeted a command and control centre involved in launching rockets and mortars towards Israel. “As a result of the [Israeli army] strike, a wall of a church in the area was damaged,” it said, adding, “We are aware of reports on casualties. The incident is under review' Like I said, the outrage should be why are these animals firing from nearby places like a church, mosque schools, hospital etc. It's well documented that this is what they do. Let's just say this is what happened, what should Israel do? Allow them tk shoot and not retaliate? Mike- completely agree. Also loads of evidence that Hamas actually force their citizens not to leave as they want them to be a human shield / collateral damage. One example being dead palestinians on the street who had been shot trying to leave, before israel had a military presence and a hamas bomb going off on a main road to stop cars driving south. Its fucking shameful the world don't call Hamas out more."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Haven't the IDF done and are still doing what Hamas 100% did not - give the civilians ample warning to get the fuck out of the possible line of fire? Not Israel's fault if, being fully forewarned, those self-same civilians choose to remain in and on the potential battlefield. If it was a flood warning, I'm pretty sure they'd scarper pretty quickly. People didn't scarper from the floods in Libya because they didn't get such advanced warning. Gonna blame Israel for that, too? So. The residents in Gaza City are given plenty of warning and ignore it (for reasons best known to only themselves). Their choice, not yours, mine or ""the international community's""; that means that they are 100% responsible for whether or not they live to see another day. I mean, come on; do you really believe Israel won't go after Hamas because a few (hundred/thousand) uneducated Arabs (Awww, bless their little cotton socks - they simply don't understand like we do) decide to stay - and what is worse, force their babies & children to stay, too."

If it wasn't a mistake then that would make it deliberate? 18 died I imagine the results of the investigation will clear it all up though.

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Exeter You can keep saying what you said I haven't challenged that. That's your choice. I've just challenged what you've said re bombing a church which went from it being a direct hit from your inital post to it being on the adjacent land, to it being a mistake to now it being an investigation. That's fine if you aren't 100% sure, as frankly who is, but let's not start stating facts when it's clear you aren't 100% sure yourself. I also asked how many died which you haven't answered. But either way any innocent death is a tradegy so let's just leave that point alone. I'd still blame Hamas over Israel for this war though."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"The way to bring both sides to the negotiating table is to inflict hurt and pain on both sides till they get to the point to where they need to relent. Hamas did their part, now Israel has to do theirs. Same with the hood people of Britain, you have to either vote the right people in, good luck with that or cause such a disruptive stir to force change. Sitting back and hoping things will improve is moronic. The more they let in the worst it will get. Don’t kid yourself they are not just going to fit in with time."
