The issue for Palestinians now is that their neighbours won't help them because a) they have designs on the region themselves, and b) Palestinian refugees in neighbouring countries have caused trouble and destabilised those countries by siding with anti government forces. The Egyptians have built a wall on their border with Gaza to keep out extremists and The Muslim Brotherhood who are in Gazza."
