General Election - July 2024
This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.
Re: General Election - July 2024
Always Voted Tory.. Will not vote for anyone other than Reform now. The mainstream parties are absolute cunts !
Re: General Election - July 2024
Labour would have done the same as the Tories during Covid. Just little most governments around the world did. I'm not saying it was the right thing to do. In hindsight it certainly wasn't.

Re: General Election - July 2024
I'm 74 have always voted Labour with the exception of voting tory in the brexit election. I've never seen such a bunch of cunts on both sides than this lot. As soon as my election card drops through the letterbox it will end up in the bin. Fuck the lot of them they're all shisters.

Re: General Election - July 2024
I must admit that the way the tories dealt with Covid alone is reason enough to not let them anywhere near public office or any future positions of authority. Getting Brexit done was about their only redeeming feature of their tenure and they immediately went into fuck-it-up mode after doing that.

"I'll never forgive this lot for what they did to a generation of schoolkids during covid. Starmer on his own would be bad enough but that vile cսnt Blair is pulling strings. Mandleson will have a voice in the background too. For the first time in my adult life, I'm seriously thinking of giving it a miss on July 4th, not one of them are worth 2 Bob. Can throw in the Greens and Lib Dems, our whole political system is infested with self serving cunts."

"Cue all the Tories shouting about how we can't possibly allow a Labour government cos the borders will open, cost of living will go through the roof, businesses will collapse, people will be arrested for thoughtcrime, race riots, and a politicised police force..... Oh."

Re: General Election - July 2024
"I'm 66 and every Labour govt has been a disaster. Even tony Blair who was labours golden boy took over from John majors Tory party when we had the strongest economy in Europe and lo and behold by the time they were removed all they left was a note saying the moneys all gone. The tories have been truly shocking the last few years, all the reasons for voting Tory have gone . Low taxes, low spending, strong law and order and to be honest I can't think of a reason to vote for either"
Re: General Election - July 2024
Whoever takes government will not have a democratic mandate from the electorate. It would make a change for the next elected PM to acknowledge that though taking power it is fully realised that most voters did not cast their vote for the party of government.

Re: General Election - July 2024
The saving grace is that the far left supporters like Owen Jones and Ash Sarkar will hate whoever get's in power. Having said that so will the far right supporters like Nigel Farage and Lee Anderson. I'm going for a healthy Labour majority and a year of stability before the left leaning members start to plot the ousting of Starmer.

"""Visiting the UK right now, fuck it’s changed and much not for the better?"" I assume you are referring to the population demographics there. Yes, it's tragic, depressing and maddening isn't it. The native white population is suffering from a silent, but very real, policy on population replacement. Enoch was right all along."

Re: General Election - July 2024
"Talking about how much better the UK is going than the EU doesn’t really mean anything when the UK is still practically in the EU because “In 2022, the UK exported £340 billion of goods and services to the EU, 42% of total UK exports. The UK imported £432 billion from the EU, 48% of total UK imports.” So the question to ask is what would UK performance be like if it was still a full member, and the answer, quite emphatically, is a damn sight better in terms of costs of doing business at least."
