General Election - July 2024

Post twoleftfeet »

This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.

Clacton is held by a Conservative who got 72% of the vote despite voting remain in a seat that voted 70% leave. The likely Farage victory just knocks one off Sunaks majority. Seat has one of the highest proportions of economically inactive people

"joyo 3:32 Sun Jun 23 I see that ladyjoyo is giving us a lesson in his debating skills again. Just tick the Reform box on voting day and move on. You KNOW you want to. And, yes, the BBC still haven't got over/accepted Brexit yet, just like they can't accept that global warming wasn't triggered by the industrial revolution, but simply by the sun hitting one of it's peaks again. Now, if they accepted that there are too many economy enhancing consumers...sorry...people on the planet, the debate on mankind's influence on climate change might start to grow legs. Breaths everywhere, though, are not being held. And these cunts claim to be impartially bringing us the truth. North Korea eat your heart out."

"Svender, more the article listing every bad comment made by any reform candidate. And the obsession with the economics in their manifesto while barely mentioning the made up maths in all the other parties documents. If Farage wins in Clacton it will be one of the biggest swings on record, but it will be dismissed as a far right stronghold."

"Yes, the bbc should refuse to broadcast Farage’s comments about Russia invading Ukraine is the wests fault or his candidate who reckons we shouldn’t have fought Hitler It’s your average Tory voter I feel sorry for Farage is saying everything they agree with but some feel they should stay loyal to Rishi & his shambles And probably a bit pissed off that they weren’t tipped the wink by Rishi about the July 4 date so they could pile on too"

It worries me that a twat like Farage has this affect on mainstream parties and the media. Time for them to deal with the issues of the silent majority.

The BBC have gone into overdrive this week trying to discredit Reform & Farage. Meanwhile C4 are airing a programme this week about the NHS crisis. I suppose you have to admire their lack of subtlety in a way. It comes to something when the question causing the new PM the biggest problem is whether or not a woman can have a cock.

"The media are absolutely paranoid at anything (such as the population voting such) that disrupts the nice, cosy red/blue split the country has so long endured. They (used to) know where they stand with each colour rosette and easily manage to lead the unthinking to follow - and especially dupe those who actually claim to think about choices in politics; they are the least likely to alter their stance because ""they know"" what is best (not necessarily for the country, but certainly for their feels and comfort blanket) for everyone, and who can argue with a ""good"" education? These ""knowledgeable"" (but unwilling/unable to think) people at either end of the spectrum are those who will fuck it for everybody."

"Seems it is actually possible to accept Farage is a Kremlin asset while expressing the view that Brexit was a step in the right direction sabotaged by the Establishment. They walk among us, or rather occupy our public space."

"So, exactly why DID Putin invade the Ukraine? Anything, perhaps, to do with him and his oligarch sponsors losing access to all those Ukraniane resources to which they have a divine right? And I make JK Rowing spot on, too. If a woman self-identifies as a man and uses the boy's changing rooms at gyms and swimming pools, there's no real risk if she decides to suddenly identify as a woman upon sight of all that naked genetically male flesh, but if a man self-identifies as a woman and goes through the same ""Road to Damascas"" self-reassignment in a female changing room on the sight of all that young genetically female flesh, those young females are at risk of abuse...or worse. Women & girls carry all the risk in this. That's not equality in action, however you/they try to spin it. - or do you think they should all shut up, man up and take one for the team?"

"Is anyone surprised that Farage has one eye on America and the Trump brigade? Even the right wingers in Europe don’t say that shit anymore. Just goes to show that Farage is always in it for himself (how can I align with Trump?) and the worst type of nationalist. A person that pretends to care about his country when it suits him but has another passport and will jet out while he fucks the rest of us over (Brexit benefits for the masses anyone?). It would be hilarious if he didn’t manage to get Clacton. How many shots at this?? (He probably will, but just cos the Tories are absolutely terrible)."

"prickled has freely and willingly posted up on here so many personal details about himself that virtually everybody knows who he is and why he is where he is. Him screaming ""PROVE IT!!!"" won't have any impact. If simple football folk can make such a deduction it is no sweat for the authorities to do the same should they be introduced to the same information. Be careful what you post for."

"Nutty Gearge has entered the room!!! LOL, attention grabbing twat. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13547719/George-Galloway-Britain-war-six-months-Keir-Starmer-election-win.html Britain will be 'at war' within six months of a Labour election win, George Galloway claimed today as he launched his far-Left party's 'beautiful' election manifesto. The Workers Party leader, a former Russia Today presenter, lashed out at Labour as he launched the 34-page document that promised to end UK military support for Ukraine, and hold a referendum on Nato membership."
