"chav_corner 12:58 Sat Aug 17 Well done. ""these changes represent a huge price rise for fans and a rounding error for the club, which has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.” That is a superb line."

"oi Oi.Yes,we have a victory. The club ititially announced that as for Villa and Man City there would be no matchday ticket concessions against Chelsea.our campaign has let to them making a u turn and there will now be concessions at Chelsea match and every home game. This is a result, and a poke in the eye for those who couldnt be bothered saying we were wasting our time and the club would never budge, hopefully those people will now join us.However, there is no movement on season ticket concessions so we must step up the campaign"

"the petition got a good mention in todays 'The Guardian', it'll raise awareness & embarrass the Club... sometimes things hit home harder that a march etc., being mentioned in an 'international newspaper is one. support the Petition, instead of questioning immediate outcomes. "Manuel 4:30 Wed Aug 14 Free loading? He's not even complaining about his own situation, he is complaining on behalf of the fans. I think you'll find he is working when he is at the club, as an ambassador, so he's putting that role in jeopardy by speaking up"

"Just seen the YouTube post by the bloke who went Saturday to gauge fan reaction to protests. Wow! Club reaction suggested to include prohibiting taking protest material, video discussion and taking pictures in the club shop of kit. However good the transfer window may be, however optimistic I am about next season, the momentum here must not be lost like it was before. The West Ham Way is about doing things the right way, honour, respect, loyalty all the old values. Some of us remember the bond scheme. It is wrong to totally disenfranchise the next generation of working class fans, child concession pricing was how I started and my kids started. The premier league should be resisted in trying to take that away, senior concession were how, me, my dad and grandad, when they were alive, went to West Ham together. The savings are less than Brady's part time salary and would not have impacted the transfer window 1 iota. We should stand firm against this assault on our heritage and our future which is motivated by greed, both the club individually, with broken affordable football promises and the Premier leagues drive to be the NFL's little brother."

"Hammers United statement on Betway Cup match. The boycott of the Betway Cup match saw West Ham United supporters coming together to show the club they will not accept the club's season ticket price hikes and attacks on price concessions for the young, disabled and older fans. Nor do West Ham supporters accept the club's argument that these measures are necessary in order for the club to compete. There are varying accounts on the attendance of yesterday’s match but it is clear that despite a relentless marketing campaign, the club's message to its supporters was rejected and they were forced to give away large numbers of tickets, according to some reports as many as 6500! Our fanbase is united and together on this issue and the club would do well to remember the campaign against the Bond Scheme and how that ended. The campaign is building and awareness of the club’s attack on its young, older and disabled supporters is growing. We therefore urge the club to get round the negotiating table as soon as possible and to not fudge the issue. A MEANINGFUL discussion must lead to outcomes that will restore the rights of our young, old and disabled fans who have shown real loyalty to the club’s decision to move from Upton Park . Until this happens and these outcomes are restored, West Ham fans will intensify the campaign exploring all avenues including legal and peaceful protest co-ordinated with other clubs who face the same attack on their fans’ loyalty. At the same time we will give our full backing to our team and our manager. We support the team, not the regime. #SAVEOURCONCESSIONS #STOPEXPLOITINGLOYALTY"

"Here's the full piece. It actually quotes Ray Winston. Often wondered if our Ray Winston is the real thing?I STOP! HAMMER TIME! What a summer it has been at the Olympic Park in Europe‚Äôs finest capital city. No, we are not talking about ripped athletes throwing javelins or people who only need to perform for less than 10 seconds to achieve glory. Of course, our focus is on the complete renovation of West Ham United. David Moyes is gone and he has been replaced by a former Real Madrid manager who has made some impressive signings in the window, splashing a load of dosh to do so. Luis Guilherme, Maximilian Kilman, Crysencio Summerville, Niclas F?ºllkrug and Guido Rodr??guez have all rocked up in Stratford, bringing plenty of on-pitch optimism with them. Julen Lopetegui will be ruddy excited to get going after being able to bring in players of such quality. They even had a nibble for N‚ÄôGolo Kant?© but had to make do with World Cup and Copa Am?©rica winner Rodr??guez, who cost them nowt. Considering they are picking up such bargains, they must be able to give back to their fans by dropping ticket prices rather than, say, whacking on a 7.5% increase and preventing new concessions in the most expensive parts of the ground, making it extortionate to go as a family ‚Äì but it‚Äôs good news for day-trippers. They will be allowed to spend up to ¬£120 to witness the visit of Manchester City and there‚Äôs not a concession ticket in sight. If you want to come to the F?ºllkrug, you gotta pay top dollar, otherwise he will refuse to perform. A petition opposing the price rises and concession changes has been signed by more than 15,000 people. These are folk who know the risk of losing ageing fans who find enjoyment in the team they have loved for decades and the dangers of losing a generation of younger supporters who will find more cost-effective fun than witnessing a weekend pummelling by Bournemouth. ‚ÄúIt‚Äôs an [eff]ing liberty but it‚Äôs the way of the world today I‚Äôm afraid,‚Äù actor Ray Winstone geezered to coinpoker.com. Even those who can afford the whopping top whack ¬£1,720 season tickets will need to take their binoculars because everyone is so far away from the pitch at the London Stadium. Did we mention the taxpayer built it? Anyway, good news about spending ¬£40m on Kilman. Will Unwin https://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/aug/07/football-daily-west-ham"

Just read this in the Guardian ""Considering they are picking up such bargains, they must be able to give back to their fans by dropping ticket prices rather than, say, whacking on a 7.5% increase and preventing new concessions in the most expensive parts of the ground, making it extortionate to go as a family – but it’s good news for day-trippers.""
