The Premier League side are back in the mix to sign the 23-year-old this summer. That’s at least what Bolavip Brasil are reporting, and they say West Ham have shown interest in the forward. It’s claimed Julen Loptegui’s side have recently made contact, likely to find out about the player’s situation at the Brazilian club. Bolavip Brasil point out that this is their original information and they claim the Hammers are ‘ready to make the first official offer’ for the Brazil international. There’s no mention of the fee they are ready to propose or Corinthians’ demands to sanction his sale. Alberto and his teammate Wesley Gassova have been approached by European clubs, and Corinthians’ board feel both will leave in this window. Everton have also looked at the South American attacker. They haven’t yet made an offer and one is expected at this stage. In addition to this, an unnamed Saudi Arabian club have made contact. They are willing to offer €20m to sign the player. Alberto has managed 17 goals and three assists from 36 games this year."
