Steve Lamacq gave a nice little tribute to Chris York just prior to the 4.30 news bulletin on his 6 Music show today (Monday) - you can check it out on BBC Sounds.

"Longtimeloser. Ignore him Pents, he pops up infrequently in an attempt to seem ""edgy"", maybe even ""Right-on"". This site has no ""edgy"" posters, let alone ""Right-on"" flavoured ones. Hope you're managing as best you can. Slowly, slowly, catchee monkey: there is an end to the tunnel and you will win. Best of British, and all that."

"Not sure what this is about, but Joe Royal is certainly what he says he is and I’ve met him on tour a couple of times. Leonard H could also confirm that."
