Füllkrug Signed
"Hammers complete signing of Germany international Niclas Füllkrug West Ham United is delighted to announce the signing of Germany international centre-forward Niclas Füllkrug. The prolific striker joins the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Hannover-born Füllkrug has scored goals wherever he has played, netting over 50 in the Bundesliga, three in last season'sUEFA Champions League, and 13 in just 21 caps for Germany, including two each at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024. The 6‚Äô2 player will now move to the Premier League, where his qualities of outstanding passing, heading and finishing, and all-round physical attributes, will add firepower to Head Coach Julen Lopetegui's attacking arsenal."
Re: F?ºllkrug Signed
"Hopefully he will be a fantastic signing but having never played outside of Germany it's a bit of a gamble. Oh and Steidten is full of shit, he chased Duran for ages, now he's saying he chose Fullkrug instead, yeah of course you did Tim."

Re: F?ºllkrug Signed
"I’m more interested in the style of play than the players they’re bringing in tbh. We’ve had top players here (Haller, scamaca etc) but it’s the style that lets us down. No no.9 can play for us if we don’t play further up the pitch and our mids aren’t good on the ball. That’s why Antonio is the only striker on earth that has worked at West Ham in years. Change the system and players like Ings etc start making sense. This window isn’t about who we bring in, it’s about how good Lopetegui is as a coach. How fast can he get us there? Fingers crossed."

Westham67 9:52 Exactly. You need a mix. This bloke is ready now. I get people have reservations about his age which is fair but those actually saying he's no good or not good enough? What a joke. Coming fresh off a Champions league final and playing up front in the Euros for Germany. Only on WHO

This window will be about getting in the experience that Loppy can get a tune out of to start playing football again.

Re: F?ºllkrug Signed
"Mixed feelings on this. Decent player with a good current profile, but at 31 this is a poor deal, and goes against everything I thought Steiden and Lopetegui were meant to be changing at the club. Needs to hit the ground running and makes the difference in the short term, or it’s another dead end 30+ striker on our books we will struggle to shift. However he is better than nothing. Think he’ll be well up for the physical element of the PL but the pace and intensity might catch him out."

Re: F?ºllkrug Signed
"15 league goals guaranteed, love this signing and so will Bowen, Somerville and Kudus."
Re: F?ºllkrug Signed
"Surprised that anyone who saw him at the Euros isn't happy about his arrival, but then some people seem to prefer looking at statistics more than actual football. I reckon there'll be some people eating their words a few months down the line. Not really an exciting signing, but he will likely be very effective up front."

"I know not everyone is enthused, but I think that's a good signing. Instantly we're better at centre forward. Get Duran as well and great business."

Re: F?ºllkrug Signed
What an uninspiring signing. I am totally against this. We are heading for a relegation battle.
