"Played at the intensity of the friendly it was. Got a bit crowded in the middle of the park around the 55 - 60 minute mark, I felt, with no forward outlet. Will they be going after Paqueta now they've had their 2 hours free advertising?"

"Aguerd is a liability every game now? Overplaying and losing it for their equaliser. Coufal gave everything but will be backup to Wan Bissaka. Lack of pace his main issue. As mentioned the Jerry did nothing but had no service. We obviously havent worked on creating him opportunities. He will need very good crosses etc. because, as we were tood to expect, he has no pace. Still think we need a fast, strong forward option like Duran"

"Agree with that Alf - will take a while for some players to adjust. Thought we looked great in patches, wanted the ball and had a (progressive) plan when we had it. Soucek looked more comfortable too as you noted."

"An old fashioned German centre forward should absolutely be twatting that penalty, none of this stuttered run up nonsense. Anyway, JL wins a cup in his first few games - (sarcasm intended)."

We looked decent in possession first half but still relied on Paqueta to make anything in the final 3rd. Still missing a cutting edge but will take a time to get the squad playing the way Loppy wants. Its not 2nd nature yet. Soucek was neat and tidy to be fair and didnt do much wrong. Still not totally convinced with the CB partnership which players seem to be a le to get in behind. New players? The Argie looks a good acquisition. Sommerville lively. Fullkrug the German had no service but was very quiet. Cant say anything yet although he jyst missed a pen so already West Ham strikers curse on him? ;-)

Why does this idiot comm keep asking Brevett questions. Much to do about nothing this. Roll on next week. Looks like Fullkrug and Summerville will start from the bench next week.

Camerawork seems fully focussed on the pitch and lower stands. Not seen any shots of the heaving masses in the upper levels yet.

"Paqueta the stand out player first half. One assist and one goal the Brazilian way. Rodriguez showing hos defensive skill and will fit in well one the PL. Other than that, a few half chances both ways and some tidy passing in between. All i can say so far is that its a pleasure to se WHU not sitting deep and counter attack for 45 mins...."
