FFS. Can't even get an easy tie in round 2 of this. At least we're at home though I guess.

It will be interesting to see the attendance figure A workmate (man utd fan) saw the £10 tickets advertised and decided he wants to tag along I ended up getting the band 2 tickets in the end for £20 the same area for Man city or Chelsea if on resale will probably cost me £85 or more so I will probably only go to one of those games. Looking forward to wednesday though and a chance to see some more of the new signings.

"Exile. No you've agreed many times but you forget because of your age ;). I forgive. My expected team. Fab Bassaka Todibo Kilman Cresswell Alvarez Potts Kudus JWP Summerville Fullkrug If JWP hasn't assisted or scored with a free kick or corner then bin him for any forward. If Cresswell gives even a throw in away bin him. Subs. Fodders,Scarles,Mavropanos.Orford,Bowen Paquetta,Antonio. Hopefully we've sold Ings,Cornet and Aguerd by this so we know where we are"

Agree there Sydney. I bettet game to get players upto PL speed. We should be able to beat Bournemouth with a 2nd XI tbh as we have we have enough quality. Doesn't mean we will and it's not being arrogant.. They will make changes too as they have a game against Everton on Saturday too. I hope though that Potts will start alongside Alvarez. We have to see if he can provide cover. I expect Fullkrug and Summerville to both start probably (alas ) JWP. Cresswell will too but I'd rather see Scarles given ago. Rodri and Soucek can rest as expect them to play on Saturday.

Maybe as good thing we have drawn a PL side rather than some lower league fodder? Go strong and will help the new boys into the team playing a side that are decent. International break as well so not like we need to rest anymore. COYI

"I wouldn't be resting many for this,, we have a new squad and trying to play differently. We've only played 2 games and then have an international break after City.. We need game time as a unit. I'd start Wan-Bissaka and Todibo, Alverez over Soucek. I'd also start Fullkrug Though I feel before long we will be seeing Bowen back up front, if we don't sign another striker."

"Perhaps not 90 but if he isn’t given a chance in a game like this then we will never find out if he is any good. Good timing for Alvarez, he should get 60 mins or so and hopefully be ready for next weekend."

"Good opportunity to give Todibo, Summerville, Fullkrug and Guilherme 90mins. We need to go deep into this competition as one we can win so a strong line up I hope."

"We should have a good enough squad to take this competition seriously, especially with no European games this season. The club are probably happy we got Premier League opposition. They can make it a Category A game now."
