"Yeah, Go Compare Meerkat etc blah blah, I thought I'd get WHO's very own experts. Am currently with Virgin which has been OK but customer service is utter shite. Looking at Vodafone is that any good? Over to you good people?"

"i'm with IDNET. smaller operator, very quick to sort out what very few issues i've had. got a job involving shuffling around 8k video and needed an upgrade pronto and they sorted it out within 24 hours."

"Another shout for BT. Been with them for years and service has always been reliable. Sure not the cheapest and I did have an issue when I re contracted they bizarrely got rid of my old landline number, which I hardly used anyway but upon complaint I got new phones and compensation out of them, so they do admit mistakes etc."

Re: Best Broadband only providers please
"I looked into this recently. I had been passed between four providers since starting with 'Post Office Broadband' a few years back so if you plump for a minor provider your account will probably get sold on at some point. I have ended up with plus net. I read a lot of reviews of all the MSE recommended providers (the cheaper ones sound disasterous) but all providers have lots of bad ones so ultimately the reviews weren't helpful. No issues with plus net, either with the self-installation or with the service. All working well but then again I'm not streaming films every five minutes. On a guarenteed 50Mbs speed I am getting 72Mbs, up to 80 off peak. Good luck navigating the confusopoly of broadband deals."
Re: Best Broadband only providers please
Was thinking of going to virgin. Do there speeds remain at the highest stated?
Re: Best Broadband only providers please
Went with Trooli a couple of years ago on some sort of offer. A bit of a gamble as i had read nothing but bad things but I havent had to contact them once and speeds consistant at 150. Best provider I have had.

"Recently started using Onestream and have been impressed, had an issue with the connection and Openreach came more or less straight away, I believe there is some kind of synergy between the 2 companies."

"Have been with BT for years, probably 15 or more. 900 Full Fibre, about a bullseye per month. Not cheap but as reliable as fuck, in my case at least. I'm sure others on here have some horror stories about them. The old dears with EE, 150Mb. Think she pays about £25 per month. Once again has been very reliable."
