Re: Soucek haters
"""I expect this shit from KUMB not here."" You've been posting here for 5 minutes, you crank, and it's exactly what you should expect from this website. KUMB, from the odd occasion I've looked, is full of bellends who want to agree on absolutely everything, like a few cunts on here seem to want. Anyone who watched the full game Saturday, and tells me Soucek had a good game, is a pillock with fuck all clue about football. That's what I've got you down as."

Re: Soucek haters
"Massive Attack It depends on the definition of midfielder... Trevor Sinclair was a midfielder if I recall and he scored more than Soucek, but apparently he doesnt count because he's a winger... Id also say that Soucek probably scored the majority of his goals like yesterday when he was playing in a more advanced role, before Moyes pushed him back to cover Rice, so not a defensive midfielder"
Re: Soucek haters
Is this about giving the North London Scream Queen oxygen. Now that Moyes has left the building.? Tommy puts on the shirt. Gives his all. Turns out he's a cսnt.! Another player. Falls out with a manager. Refuse's to travel north of the Watford Gap. Team gets relegated. Jumps ship quicker than a rat on the Titanic. And is said to be a club Legend.! Funny old game.
Re: Soucek haters
"i don't think I've hated any West Ham players, just hated them playing for the team when they are a)useless b)better players about c) lazy sods d)overated. only b) really appiies to Soucek. i haven't rated him that highlyjust like his goals when it mattered. We have had better option in the last 2 seasons for most games. But Soucek is a quality player because he delivers. Now I don't really want him starting most games but there are games when he should start and games when he shouldn't. Against City for all his energy and blocking skills we need someone who can pass better. We would regret him leaving and contributing with another team more than we would having him in the squad. It's crazy though that there were many on here stating that we should build our team around him rather than Rice after his best season and all those goals. It was clear as mud that Rice would contribute more and the better player.,but the argument stillraged about him playing deeper. now if we want rid of any midfielder I think it should be JWP. He is definetely b) and d) and more often in 2024 a). Sell him and promote a better allround player now in Orford."

Re: Soucek haters
"Eventually we should be evolving away as we want to keep the ball more, I just disagree with the sentiment he's somehow a donkey who don't contribute much to the Team with fan fixating on his poor passing range and ability. No one will argue his passing his poor but I can't overlook so much else he offers with ghosting into the box with regularity that has real outcomes of goals, as well as the shift he puts in defensively. I felt he wouldn’t automatically be moved out the 1st Team and furthermore moved on out the Club as I thought Lopetegui would appreciate his battling and goalscoring qualities in the Squad. He's a real asset to have for any side in the Squad."

Re: Soucek haters
In all the time I have watched West Ham I can’t recall a player having scored (particularly last season) more late winners. Going forward I don’t think he can survive in a Lopetegui team as a starter but think he can be useful as a last 15mins sub if we are chasing a goal

"Hahaha dear oh dear. Clean sheet, scores our 1st open play goal (off the back of winning our 1st goal against a quality Team). Yes, very poor indeed. I expect this shit from KUMB not here."

Re: Soucek haters
Is this Stat true of Soucek.. Tomas Soucek has scored more non-penalty goals than any other midfielder in the Premier League for West Ham (28) Quite impressive from a useless Defensive Midfielder if it is true.

Re: Soucek haters
"Poor?? Contributes defensively like he usually does as hus primary role in the Team, as well as win us our penalty and 1st goal this season, as well as score a vital 1st goal away at home when everyone else has struggled to score from open play. A player who apparently we were keen to sell and will struggle to start games (2/2). Definitely proving you's wrong."

"I thought he was useless and definitely wouldn't start games in the Lopetegui era and couldnt play in his Teams? Myth busting 2024/25 season in full flow it seems. Well done Super Tom, keep proving the doubters wrong."

"Who said that then? I think everyone would universally agree he seems like a lovely bloke. That has got fuck all to do with his footballing ability, which is the only thing I'm bothered about when he plays for West Ham. Not that that will bother you, you probably can't remember the last time you watched a West Ham game."

Re: Soucek haters
"I expect as our altered squad gels under our new coach and adopts his way of playing that Soucek will evolve out of the regular starting eleven. However he will still remain an important part of the matchday squad because, as he demonstrates yet again to the frustration of many of us, the bloke has a goal in him. Looking at Soucek objectively he does not have the attributes of a regular, top half EPL, midfielder but it’s that property of popping up with a goal that makes him valuable in a coach’s eyes. The competition is greater for midfield starting places now though so the team can only benefit from everyone having to raise their game."

Re: Soucek haters
"Having football based opinions on players is now bullying. Blimey. Give it a rest you fucking minge, I know you are living your best life now people are being locked up for words, but if we all have to agree on every West Ham player being great without any nuance whatsoever, you might as well turn this website in, as well as the new one."
Re: Soucek haters
"It makes no odds whether the Soucek haters give it a rest or not. The unintelligent with school bully mentalities always need a target. If Soucek leaves or is dropped, they'll just find another victim."

"Sydney_Iron 11:25 Sun Aug 25 'Agree that no one hates him, but let’s be honest if not for the goals what does he bring to the team?' The aquaducts, sanitation, the roads, great wines, the canals, public health... 'Apart from the goals...' Silly person."
Re: Soucek haters
"Big fan of Soucek. His contributions over the last 3 or 4 years puts him in cult hero status for me. I expect him to be out of first 11 as season progresses but if he keeps scoring big goals you can't drop him. Good thing is, we got a proper squad now so he's not being relied upon like previously."
Re: Soucek haters
"Just like when we had Kevin Nolan playing in that position, I don't care if he hits double figures every season, I still don't like him. I want a no 10 who can create chances for others and at least contribute to the flow of the passing game. In a team with the likes of Bowen, Kudus and Summerville you don't really need another goal scoring midfielder, what you need is a provider. If we don't get Soler or someone else new then I'd rather see Kudus, Paqueta or even JWP in that role."

Re: Soucek haters
"There are good reasons managers like him, finding space in the box is a rare skill, good in the air, important defending and attacking set plays. He is a leader, has great energy levels and always gives everything for his team. Whilst I agree that his technical skills on the ball and passing range are not his strength, good teams for years have found ways of incorporating players for their strengths. I'm actually pleased he isnt bombed out. He might not be an automatic starter every game but he has shown last two matches he is one of our biggest threats."
