Russell Brand

Post Pentonville »

Dispatches tonight could be about him so he has jumped in first dismissing claims and rumours and saying anything he did in past was consensual. No doubt it will be said that this is The Matrix coming after him due to his opposition to mainstream media.

"Soooooo, C4 who for their 40th anniversary saw fit to bring on a male with breast implants to perform live and when he stripped off, played the keyboard with his todger and then jiggled his fake moobs in excitement which the Chief Exec of C4 described it as a ""beautiful moment of trans expression"". And they are same gang who employed and encouraged Brand. Re the vaccine. If you like drugs and enjoy taking them, do so. We've had that conversation and it should be free will."

"Lee Trundle is an excellent poster and his opinions are worth listening to. Except on this. Actually, even that’s not true. He says don’t listen to amateurs and do your own research and come to your one conclusion. That is great advice. Don’t ever just be a sheep. On this, we came to different conclusions. But I agree with his overall philosophy."

"Here is the latest US Data on the effectiveness of Vaccinations against COVID https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccine-effectiveness Of course, it is complex but the short message "" Staying up to date on COVID-19 vaccination helps protect against hospitalization, critical illness, and death in all age groups. CDC recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines for their age group."" Of course, there is no claim that vaccination stops you from getting COVID but there is a wealth of evidence that says it reduces your likelihood of hospitalisation, critical illness and death from infection. As for the risk of Myocarditis read this from the British Heart Foundation https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/heart-matters-magazine/news/coronavirus-and-your-health/coronavirus-vaccine-your-questions-answered/myocarditis-and-covid-19-vaccines-should-you-be-worried I have ny covid booster and flu jabbed booked for next week"

"Mike Oxsaw 5:10 Wed Sep 20 We all know that an individual cannot prove that the vaccine has protected them from covid. I can however prove that it hasn't affected my heart. I have regular check ups and all is well. I don't have the files but my GP does. He won't show them to you though so you'll just have to believe me. I haven't died of covid either so I'm confident that I have made the correct decision. BTW sarcasm just makes you sound arrogant and stupid, not big and clever as intended."

oioi I also spoke to and listened to the views of several health professionals and made my own decision after considering different opinions. And I decided that getting a bad cold was much more preferable than damaging my heart. Wils - I'm not anti-vax in the slightest. I'd even wager I've had more vaccines pumped into me than you have. I've just decided to take the ones that actually work.

"No point trying to reason anti-vaxxers out of their position as it was not a position they reasoned themselves into in the first place. It's an emotional response presented as reason with whatever Google supplies it with. There are plenty of reasons to not get vaccinated and many of them true or at the very least thought provoking. But let's be honest, the starting point of most anti-vaxxers is sentiment not reason. Perhaps the exceptions to that are to be found this thread, who knows."

Why would you think you are even capable of knowing the validity of the shit you read online to the extent of not only putting your personal research above the knowledge of doctors and medical professionals, but thinking you're in a place to recommend others do the same?"

"There is an extremely good argument to say that people getting the vaccine became much less afraid and socialised quickly thus creating a big up tick in cases, in part as they thought they were safe. This coincided with the Delta variant ( which I got almost surely ) which was the most brutal variant in terms of symptoms."

"RichyP Personally, WHO (both here and the World Health Organisation) would be the last places if be taking advice from, but seeing as you asked Mike I'll give my pennis worth. The vaccine isn't effective, it doesn't reduce transmission, and it increases the chances of myocarditis. It's all out there, if you're willing to look."

"How about: - The vaccine will stop you contracting the virus, - the vaccine will stop you passing the virus onto someone else, - the masks will absolutely 100% protect you against the virus, - it's far better to stay in your own home with all the windows slammed lock tight that it is to get out and about into the fresh air, - the lock-downs will prove to have done more good for everybody than harm; it's for your own good, - you can only socialise with immediate family in an isolated group, - it's best for everyone if you don't share the last moments of your loved ones lives actually with them in person, - it's ok to boogie on down if you're a politician or senior civil servant, otherwise it's chokey for you..."

Could you list all of those reason along with the evidence as to why each one has been blown out of the water? Not saying you are wrong, just really interested to learn more and you seem to be quite knowledgeable on the subject"
