Russell Brand
Dispatches tonight could be about him so he has jumped in first dismissing claims and rumours and saying anything he did in past was consensual. No doubt it will be said that this is The Matrix coming after him due to his opposition to mainstream media.

"Be (very) aware that all this celebrity obsessed who-did-whattery takes focus away from the impact of The Online Safety Bill that is about to be railroaded through parliament. I urge you all to give your celebrity obsession facetiousness a rest and focus on how this bill will fuck up your life - not instantly, but as sure as eggs is eggs..."

Re: Russell Brand
I loved Brand’s latest “best of” video. He included all the greatest hits: - Big Pharma - Military Industrial Complex - Mainstream Media - The War - The Pandemic - Deep State - Corporate collusion All my favorites in just 3 minutes! Please give me money because I’m being censored!! Whilst talking from YouTube - a place that’s apparently censoring him. Love how he’s been called out for misleading again. He’s being censored by the online safety bill - even though it’s not yet a law.

"And yet the BBC are still promoting a comedian who groomed a teenage boy, shared him around at drug fuelled sex parties and led him to commit suicide at 18 due to the shame he felt. And ITV are still promoting a comedian that assaulted a 16 year old boy on stage, pulling his trousers down and exposing him to the audience and then dry humping him. All of the above happened and wasn’t alleged to have happened."

Re: Russell Brand
He’s going to double-down on the conspiracy stuff now. That audience are all about victim stuff. Pentonville - I always did wonder why he went from rising Hollywood star to zero roles. This stuff would explain why.

Re: Russell Brand
"threesixty 12:17 Sat Sep 23 Agree fully with that. The Online Safety Bill will become the death by 1000 cuts for the Freedom of Speech - both for online and MSM. It's been cleverly worded, structured and presented in a manner such that it points a suspicion of nonceness at anybody who so much as thinks about opposing it - which is very much not the case (unless you've fucked an under-aged Cambodian raspberry, that is). The trouble is, there are (still) people who hang on every utterance of this government & it's licensed, puppet MSM and treat it as the gospel truth*. It's presence has also been insidiously seeped drip-by-drip into the public memory in such a manner that few even bother to look up from their Angry Birds session when it gets mentioned now. It's not just Facebook's (spit!) and Apple's encryption processes under threat with that bill - you post something up on here that someone in the establishment takes a dislike to and you, too, will be toast. Imagine a rabid post-96 Spurs fan having unfettered access to and freedom to deploy such a weapon. Dramatic? Care to try it out when the Bill becomes law? I'm sure we'll all be watching carefully as independently thinking posters start disappearing from the site. * - and the gospels are anything but truthful - gossip & hearsay at the very best."

"And that’s a problem, are the media contributing to running the country? Most rely on whatever is beamed into their house to be a trusted source. But the media are not just reporters, they are influencers, politicised, have agenda’s and possible sponsorship from globalists like the WEF to convey their message."

Re: Russell Brand
"Pentonville “ The media go after who they know to be guilty whether they can prove it or not” And that is the issue in a nutshell. If we believe that all media witch hunts are valid then everyone’s a bit fucked. The media can’t be the group that on one day plants bullshit stories on Huw Edward’s and then the next day expects everyone to believe everything said about Russell Brand. Thats why we NEED the law to separate the wheat from the chaff. The issue is not about whether he is guilty (I tend to believe your testimony here as I can’t see why you’d lie about it), it’s more about the process of finding him guilty. I’m not prepared for our country to be overtaken by Media who have now become judge and jury combined with populist governments who seem to operate on clicks too. It’s just too much. The letter from govt to put pressure on an independent company to demonitize its customer who hasn’t even been fucking arrested even is absolutely insane! I don’t care about Brand. He can rot for all his done. But we need to defend the process of finding people convicted. Or we need a better process. But we can’t have what we have now. ."

"Pentonville 9:33 Sat Sep 23 Re: Russell Brand Don't think any of that people are really denying, that his behaviour with women is poor, pushy, disrespectful whatever, but did you ever hear or see him doing anything with a woman that had said no/was trying to fight him off etc? The dispatches program was pretty weak I thought, 99%% was just women pissed of at their aftercare from him or regretting their choices. Though only thing that was a statement of anything nonconsensual was that one women in the US wasn't it? So the whole thing comes down to that."

Re: Russell Brand
"Pentonville To be fair, most people on here have said that he deserves to be punished if evidence is presented in court that proves beyond any reasonable doubt that he is guilty. Fuck defending the court of public opinion, though. It is utterly unreliable, and plain wrong, even if it’s inevitable that the public will form strong opinions with no actual evidence that would hold up in court. I wholeheartedly believe he has been an obnoxious knob in his past, as he has attested to himself, and I believe it’s possible he is guilty of these crimes, and possible he is being stitched up. However, I will still consider him innocent unless proven guilty, no matter how vulgar and distasteful he was when immersed in Hollywood Babylon."

"Think people are combining two seperate issues here and getting it totally arse upwards. Tak isnt defending RB but he is expressing his disgust at the fact a government official has the right to pressurise certain platforms into cancelling Brand. Personally, I make him dead right, how the fuck anyone can say the government have the right to do this sort of shit is beyond belief. And if you do condone this type of interference, enjoy the online safety law that is coming our way, it'll suit you down to the ground."

"Triggered much lol. Remind me of the last person who was publicly vilified before a day in court who was later found to be innocent. Schofield? Saville? Tate? (Still on going) I think maybe Cliff Richard LOL The media go after who they know to be guilty whether they can prove it or not. Public opinion doesn't need to reach the same levels of proof required by a court of law. If it walks like a duck... Anyway,.thats my tuppence halfpenny, .back to west ham. Much love to u all even if we disagree on him."

Huw Edwards back on the BBC Was watching BBC Breakfast this morning and they played the wrong episode of Newswatch. Amber Rudd talking about how the Conservatives should support T May to get Brexit done and then a feature which showed a news clip of H Edwards. Someone woke up and it was pulled with red faces on the SOFA

Pentonville 9:33 Sat Sep 23 Re: Russell Brand Good post Pents. Is Fielding a wrongun? Never really heard anything in the way of stories unlike RB
Re: Russell Brand
Pents sums it up well. His whole schtick since 2014 has been an exercise in damage limitation and it looks like it will work. I would agree I don’t honk he will face charges due to lack of evidence but even if he were I don’t think a jury would convict. His plan has worked perfectly. That said the last way allegation does have some evidence behind it in that RB corroborated on a recorded show. That and the rape seem the two strongest cases legally but we’re in the US and I don’t know how things work over there. Not sure they even have juries in criminal cases? I didnt want to mention names but I was at uni when the other fella visited my town and my female friends described him in same way that brand is being described now.
