This Post Office / Horizon thing

Post Far Cough »

"What a load of fucking scumbags the higher ups at the Post Office are. I mean if more than 50 sub postmasters say there's something wrong with the system, you'd take a deep look at it wouldn't you? At least Nijinsky has handed her CBE back then. Cunts"

"I've been following this for a while. An utter disgrace, and several governments have decided to ignore it. Horse face needs to be prosecuted, being the CEO, for corporate manslaughter. The bitch was short listed for the third highest job in the Church. She's a disgrace to her belief. And that cսnt in the box yesterday, perjured himself, by denying that he told someone that they 'were the only one'. Corruption at its worst."

"OtB I think its different when a software company creates a product to a spec for a client that the client wrote. They normally insist on immunity if the spec or scope was wrong. We say Fujitsu, but its the old ICL business that Fujitsu bought and took over mainly for a few products but mainly for their client base (central govt etc)"

"riosleftsock 10:02 Thu Jan 11 Maybe - knowing a tiny bit (and only a tiny bit) about the odd NHS contract of this type, I'd be surprised. Been involved with a couple of patient systems (BT being one company that created one) and they 100% were on the hook for problems. I don't see why Fujitsu would be different - the contract just wouldn't be allowed in the NHS otherwise."

They might like to look at the awarding of the contract to Fujitsu and why they were allowed to continue when it was clear the model was flawed. Plenty of brown envelopes and noses in the trough me thinks.

"OtB Fujitsu possibly have a legal immunity clause in their contract, which would only be anulled if fraud (on their part) is proven."

It'll be interesting to see how much the PO knew about the helpline complaints - Fujitsu seem to be avoiding a lot of the heat at the moment.

"Saw the Panorama thing last night and was surprised it seemed to go under the radar when it first came out in 2020. It's a disgrace, should be jail time for a lot of those who covered it all up."
