Even in the 1970’s Unfortunately the bloke at the top deciding who was in Miramax / Weinstein Company productions was Mr H Weinstein And the other blokes in the company had him on a contract which set out amounts he had to pay when his behaviour meant someone had to be paid off ... ie they knew all about it and were prepared to put up with it given the company was still successful
