"Spot on Vexed. The Americans must file their taxes by June 15th, so your seeing a lot of people selling to be able to pay their taxes. Or in vain attempts to hide their Crypto earnings/profits American cgt on short term gains is as high as 40%, and on longer term investments it’s 20% so hefty bills there. Thus taking a hit of 10% in a drop in crypto prices is still more advantageous for them. Once it’s two weeks clear of the Tax deadline normal service usually resumes."

I'm holding until at least 2024. Might try and forget about it until then. It'll either be a nice surprise....or not.

"Be wary if buying bitcoin right now. It's at a 50/50 stage. The market structure has changed from higher highs. There are big gaps in volume transaction below 50,000USD - that means sharper and more rapid falls. If we lose 45K, back down to 42K. If we lose 40K, back down to 32K If we lose 30K, back down to 24K If we lose 24K, back down to 19K Have a clear idea of when to take profits, when to cut losses if swing trading. If a HODLer, there is a good chance you are going to have to sweat out some very big drops before a return to the highs. That's the downside."

"I bought a load of doge a few days ago before it promptly dumped 30%. It's back in profit now, but I wasn't able to buy the dip. Most of what I have is ETH, so hopefully it keeps going up. 10,000 would do nicely."

"Just short of 20,000 BTC moved onto exchanges before Elon's FUD tweet. Dogecoin also pumped again last night following another tweet. If it were stocks he'd be under investigation. (I may be bitter for selling my Dogecoin (bought at 2p) a couple of months ago)"

Crypto arent really currencies. As proven by the Elon musk ban on them. He wouldn't ban pounds or dollars. This isnt to say that they arent used like currencies for transactions online. They started as fiat and may end as fiat depending on who is willing to trade goods and services with them.

Cheezey Bell-End 9:19 It's pretty laughable that 10% is wiped off in hours as a result of a fucking tweet. But it's of little concern to holders.

"I have about 20x as much as a year ago, but could do without Musk and the like manipulating the market. if I do that to Tesla shares, I go to prison. I've got enough now that I worry about screwing up. So when the free system I'm currently using shuts down in a couple of weeks, I plan on moving the bulk of it back to Binance and letting a system called Stoic manage it. It's not cheap, but the annual fee should take about a week to get back. And I agree that you only make a loss if you sell at one. If you're patient, you can turn it round. I've done it lots of times."

Think anyone who holds long term will make serious cash even at current price. I tripled £5k in about 6 weeks at the start of year but that was just a punt and not holding anything at the moment. Definitely plan to buy again as like it or not they will become mainstream currencies over next decade.
