These 4 yr cycles, it can't be that easy can it ??
Exactly my thoughts, it just can't be that easy. Or is it a self fulfilling prophecy? I've got to think something counter popular opinion will occur like the last cycle when the world thought BTC was going to 100k and it shat itself just below 70k.

What were they offering you a job to do?

Is it a job that requires understanding what it is and how it works?

Anyway, good to see that Btc is still alive and kicking. If you think it's a Ponzi scheme or akin to the Tulip bubble then you should definitely wait it out another few years until it isn't just the widely adopted asset of today, but the universally adopted store of value which it will be by then. That way you can get in when it's at $300k rather than the measly $80k it sits at today.

"In my opinion, crypto (and I've had shit-loads of job offers to work on it, so somebody thinks I understand it) is just another debt sphere. I'm almost certain that it will go all South Sea Tulip at some point. I don't know enough trustworthy people to use it myself but one of my daughters (no link) has whacked a couple of bags into it."

"A lot of people make claims about crypto being the money of the future or of it being a form of investment, not least because of the outlandish back stories that come with each coin. I tend to see it as a very pure form of gambling and think any regulation should see it that way. Keep the thieves out, but also don't allow ETFs etc."

As long as demand doesn't suddenly fall off a cliff then it's gonna go up quite a lot in the next year to eighteen months.

"Been trading for nearly 30 years but never touched Bitcoin or any Crypto, not really looked into but on the surface i cant get my head around it? Things like Gold and currencies or stock indices are easy to understand and tangible so that's what i trade, maybe Bitcoin would suit me, i trade volatility and break outs and they have futures contracts now."

"I've got a Bitcoin tracker share (BIT-XBT) in my very meagre SIPP. Had it in there for nearly four years now and it's gone up by nearly 500% in that time. Unfortunately I didn't have much invested in BIT-XBT at the outset but it is now the biggest component of my fund. Crazily BIT-XBT was deemed too risky and a ban on adding any more was brought in in 2021, which when I look at how some of the other shares have performed is crazy... banning the most successful element sounds about right!! Got to keep the little people under control! Anyway, I'm going to leave it there and hopefully it will increase by 500% every 3-4 years."

"Crazy and unprecedented. Bitcoin approaching 62K right now, just 7K of All Time High with every metric still showing very little interest from your average retail punter. That's the power of ETF's surely. Wall street are buying this shit up."

"BTC halving around April next year and blackrock ETF on the way (whether that’s ultimately a good thing is another story). Probably a good idea to start averaging in if you haven’t already. Best performing asset since it’s inception , way safer than the thousands of shitcoins"

"Hermit Road 12:28 Fri Sep 8 There's a possibility that might happen. No guarantee there will ever be another bull run but it's quite likely that BTC will be worth considerably more than it is now. I wouldn't go chucking all my eggs into that basket, but you'd be mad not to consider allocating a portion of your funds into crypto at today's prices imo."
