It has got to the stage now where I practically can't access this site anymore... I have given up trying from home and my mobile as I just get the message that the Page cannot be found 95% of the time. At work it's only 60% of the time! Anyone else having this issue... been like it for the last couple of weeks?

"Oxsaw I posted this you dick earlier, thought it was cleared up then and it has NOTHING to do with the fact the 'Football Forum' doesn't contain all the football related threads.....this needs to be changed as the current way doesn't solve it..... Side of Ham 4:34 Tue Feb 20 Yes Mike it is down to the users…. doesn’t make the football forum the forum to go for all the football topics like you’ve suggested does it….so you can’t really avoid seeing the multitude of shitty political threads….."

"Side of Ham 9:42 Tue Feb 20 So you accept, after all that, it's not the site's fault but the user's who are the cause of ""missing"" football related posts on the Football Forum. Glad that's sorted."

"Oxsaw, if you go on the 'Football Forum' a lot of the football related threads are not on there because the posters who start the threads are not doing what you suggest, this means you have to go to the 'All Forums' where the dicks like YOU are in great attendance......what would be better would be a box to come up once you've clicked 'post' to ask if it is football related or non football related so the posters who do start a thread make a definitive choice instead of not reading the choices at all.......I would hope they would have the brains to work that out."

"Side of Ham 6:32 Tue Feb 20 Just because YOU have great difficulty in selecting the Football Forum option to read only about football related matters doesn't mean others have the same problem. The solution is simple. Whenever a thread is posted, the poster just needs to ensure that they post it on the correct forum. If they continually refuse to do so - probably because they're so fucking hard nobody (NOBODY) tells them what to do - then football threads will continue to miss being shown where they belong - on the football forum - and everyone else will be forced (FORCED) to open, read and respond to political threads correctly posted in the Off-Topic section. Treat the cause, not the symptom and the problem will disappear. Oh, and completely ignore subjects that don't interest you. Works every time for me. Additionally, you may want to stop following me around in the manner of a lost puppy."

"Oxsaw you wrote this to avoid political (or non football) threads.... ""The site already offers posters a means of not seeing non-football related posts - it's called the Football Forum; 4th blue button down on the left for those of you having difficulty locating it."" You then go on a rant like below (amongst others) showing how difficult that is to do on this site.......what a dick you are YAWN........."

"It doesn't matter even if you could hide all non-football threads. The issue is that allowing politics threads means that you encourage the site to be full of tiresome, self-righteous, argumentative pricks, and sadly they don't stick to just politics. They infest all threads on here, either to pretend that they are actually interested in football as well, or more commonly to follow around whoever has different political views to them and indulge in yet another boring, childish spat. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE CULLED."

"Manuel 5:41 Tue Feb 20 If a poster selects the ""Off-Topic"" option when creating a thread, then it will not appear on the Football Forum even if it contains the word ""Football"" a million times. Logically, the reason, therefore, that the Football Forum appears out of sync is that such a thread (about football but posted as ""Off-Topic) has to hang about waiting for a mod to move it to where it should have been created in the first place. For this reply, I've selected the Football Forum radio button instead of the pre-selected Off-Topic button, but am unaware if that will have any impact on the location of the thread itself - it will still appear in ""All Forums"" wherever it ends up. So, to recap, if you don't want to read about any non-football items, choose the forum that's dedicated purely to football matters, and not the All Forums option."

"Mike Oxsaw 2:37 Tue Feb 20 ''The site already offers posters a means of not seeing non-football related posts - it's called the Football Forum; 4th blue button down on the left for those of you having difficulty locating it.'' You are still spouting that old bollocks? I assume you have never checked the football forum, because if you did you would see that it isn't in sync and unsurprisingly not all football related threads appear on there. Secondly, nobody is saying there shouldn't be topics on other topics, just no political threads. K?¢o jai?"

"Side of Ham 4:34 Tue Feb 20 If users were to only post football related threads in the football forum, why would it not be the go-to forum for football matters? Additionally, it's news to me that ""seeing the multitude of shitty political threads"" is now the equivalent of opening, then spending time devouring and responding to that ""multitude of shitty political threads"". When did that happen?"

"My post of 12.05 wasn't about what threads should be allowed or not be allowed, it was my thought that threads which have numerous pages > 100 or so that that might be the cause of slowing the site down. Also another idea would be to delete pages of threads more than for example say a 100 some go back to 2022, surely that must be one of the reasons that the site slows to a crawl?"

Side of Ham 2:48 Tue Feb 20 That's fuck all to do with the site and all down to user laziness/indiscipline. If posters were encouraged to post in the appropriate forum in the first place there would be no issue.
