Mohammed Kudus is the top rated player in Team of the Week for the Europe's Top 5 Leagues 29 March - 1 April 2024 https://www.whoscored.com/Statistics We're going to have a struggle to keep him next season.

"I’d go big for Solanke personally, signed a new deal so could be hard to get him out of Bournemouth but I think he’d be perfect for us. Centre forward & centre back is where most of the money has to go, we need 2 CB’s really. Chuck in a right back & winger plus Paqueta’s replacement it’s another rebuilding job."

"The Feyanoord bloke does look good, but don’t they all on YT when I just did a search! As to suiting our system, hope that’s not the Moyes style system! LOL Hopefully Moyes goes in the summer and I expect that position gets filled first, Any incoming striker would hopefully be recruited by Steidten to fit the new gaffers style and philosophy, hopefully the free flowing attacking kind."

"If, like me, you have limited knowledge of European players then it's hard to say, there are probably a number out there who might be a good fit for us and obtainable, but I wouldn't know about them. Apparently Gimenez at Feyenoord is meant to be mustard and would suit our system? As for the PL, then yea as said Solanke or Toney. Toney would be sensational for us, but I can't see that happening, and isn't the point of Steiden to find the next Toney?"

Not seen the Genoa lad but I thought he was more a left winger no ?? I watched the USA vs Mexico game recently and Santiago Gim?©nez (Feyenoord) came on & looked pretty tasty. Only 22 but certainly a big unit & managed to get onto most of the balls into the box played in by Mexico whilst chasing the game. 1 in 2 rate for Feyenoord is pretty good. I got a bit of a Dean Ashton vibe from him. How about getting both Gudmundsson & Gimenez? That'll be LW & striker sorted with Kudus & Bowen having a laff.

Toney or Solanke. We'll be able to afford one of them and have change out of Paq's 85 million. Then 50 million of the tv money to replace Paq and a solid centre back. And bring Downes home!

I see Toney has been linked but Brentford will want a lot of money ... and Chelsea or Arsenal were said to be interested We need to find the next player not paying fortunes Thought we should have gone for Gyokeres at Coventry when he was £20m ... went to Sporting (?) & now some are talking of triggering his £85m buyout After we get a new manager that plays a system that suits a striker I'd trust Steidten to find a reasonably priced one

"Paul scoles quote on Lukaku Scholes told BT Sport of a player he has been critical of in the past: “Because he’s come to Man United, it seems like he thinks he has to be a footballer, he has to come into a No.10 role. “He doesn’t, that’s the last thing he needs to do. He hasn’t got the ability to do that. “His strengths are running in behind, getting on the end of crosses and midfield players have to tell him to do that: ‘Don’t come in as a No. 10, you can’t play’. “I don’t want to be disrespectful to him but his control isn’t great. He is someone who has to run in behind, and he can finish and score goals.” https://www.goal.com/en/news/lukaku-doesnt-have-the-ability-to-be-a-no-10---scholes-tells-man-utd-striker-to-play-to-his-strengths/1e5e2jcnzsqju19iud9ij2umxm Think I’ll take Paul Scholes opinion over your Goose."

"Rio Ferdinand played midfield a lot when he started out, he’s not a midfielder. Ogbonna isn’t a left back. It’s not 1989, “running the channels” is not his game. You’re lost son."

"No goose you said he doesn’t play center forward, he has played there 148 times ffs. You meant to say he doesn’t play center forward anymore. Which doesn’t alter my paoint on the type of center forward we should be looking for now does it? A Rashford style center forward one who can run the channels makes perfect sense doesn’t it?"

No they are not facts. Lukaku is slow and Rashford is not a center forward after he has played center forward his whole career are not facts. You sound like a Democrat. I can’t debate stupid so I’ll end it here.

"We should have gone all out for Cole Palmer last summer, he would have fitted in well IMO, good work rate and never say die attitude, think we were heavily linked at one point, such a shame we didn't push for it. Mind you hindsight and all that, who to go for this coming summer? Really depends on who the manager is, but hopefully Tim has some names in the pipeline."

"Roma are a bigger club than West Ham now? Funny that Paqueta did nothing before West Ham despite playing for Milan. Lukaku is of the same stock as Haller & Scamacca, playing largely with his back to goal and is slow as fuck. Rashford is a wide-forward."

Rashford is not a center forward ffs And the reason Lukaku plays at bigger clubs than West Ham is because he can both run the channels and play with his back to goal. Watch his play at Chelsea when they used the same system Conte used at Inter. To say that Lukaku doesn’t run the channels or is t quick on a counter is flat out wrong.

"Nutsin - you've been embarrassing yourself on here for a while now. I'm not sure what's happened to you. You named Lukaku and Rashford as centre fowrads you would like (or players that are similar to them) because they ""run the channels"". One isn't a centre forward and the other plays at his best with his back to goal."
