"Going back to the Sarri rumour, he plays intense 4-3-3, attacking style. Done very well at Lazio until he and the players ran out of steam and he walked recently. Don’t know how much he has left in the tank. But if he is supposed to be bringing one or two players, the most likely would be Luis Alberto (as a Paqueta replacement) who has asked to leave, and/or Daichi Kamada, whose contract isn’t solid. I also think Guendouzi is underpriced right now at around £20m as he does all the graft in their midfield."

After what I have seen of Wolves this season I would take O'Neill. Has got them playing some lovely football and has had so many injuries to deal with. And Wolves have had to stop spending due to FFP. Would be good to see what O'Neill could do with a bugger budget.

McKenna being linked now with a £4m release clause. Can’t see that happening for a number of reasons.

"As he showed at Wolves, Lopetegui is prone to throw his toys out the pram and walk... all very well having your principles but with Sullivan in charge there would be a very real risk he might fuck off at any moment. As I've said before Fonseca for me though I wouldn't be averse to Russell Martin if we want to go down the progressive English route."

"My worry too Stowie. He only seemed to get proper success at Seville but even then went into a rapid decline and the sack? We dont know the circumstances but I’d prefer a coach who looks to youth and development and builds incrementally not relying on just great recruitment although that will be necessary of course. Steidten and team have to get most recruitment right. 2 in 3,successes seems about right as its impossible for every recruited player to be a “pearl” surely ?"

"Lopetegui would be a terrible choice. Absolutely fucking terrible. It's no surprise to see feet wants him in. He is actually the complete opposite to what he wrote, but that will come as a surprise to no one on here."

"Lopetegui does not play a fast brand of football, he is very much in the Moyes mould, has all the hallmarks of going the way Pellegrini went. I’m very much in the Fonseca camp now, doing great at Lille."

"twoleftfeet 1:26 Mon Apr 22 I know your dreams have shattered over the last few days, but no need to take it out on me. Try not to cry. A lot of his criticism which you attempted to shoot down has been well and truly deserved."

Matthew Holmes 12:26 Mon Apr 22 Ted Lasso is a good shout... I would be fairly confident that his approach would be more successful than Moyes at this point.

"Trundle. A bigger cսnt as normal I see. I have no issue with criticising the manager if it's deserved, I've made that perfectly clearly you thick as shit moron. What I have an issue with is posters on here just criticising for the sake of it and only appearing on this site when we lose. I can be objective whereas the Moyes haters can't be because they have hated him since day one and whatever he does/did would never be good enough. Clear enough for you?"

"Just read Loptegui’s wiki Not great just ok. Id rather that Steidten and team have some up and coming younger, progressive coach identified like they did with Alonso at Leverkusen but suspect Sullivan will oppose that as he always wants a razzle dazzle reputation"

"I think you'll find that O'Neil is benefitting from what Lopetegui left behind. He could be a good fit for us. Great man manager, plays a faster brand of football, plays the youngsters and has experience of european football. Plus he is ready to go."

"Loptegui now being reported as one of the front runners? Ticks boxes for Sullivan ( not too young, a brief experience of Prem, razzle dazzle factor of managing Spain etc) I personally dont know if he will be any good but he did improve Wolves although no better that Gary ONeill has. But we need someone who can quickly get a new tactical approach and style embedded and bring in a lot of new players, youth etc."

"I never want to see us lose, never mind 'like' to see us lose. But given our remaining fixtures, I'm increasingly confident Moyes will be gone in May/June. We're getting battered, regularly, by bang average sides such as Fulham and Palace. So, as many people have said, this myth about Moyes' defensive solidity has been shattered. It is over for Moyes, as many fans have long known. He is exceptionally out of date when you look at the tactical and technical approaches now adopted by most Premier League clubs. Moyes is decades out of date. Steidtden has long known this, of course. I don't see Steidten as some sort of saviour in his role. He may not even be that good himself. But he has long called out Moyes for very obvious problems."

"""We have been embarrassed several times this season with proper beatings. 5-0, 6-0, 5-2, 4-1, 4-0 and all this with a manager that is supposedly hard to beat"" That seems to have been the media's drum to bang for ages. Portraying Moyes as a defensively sound manager. The stats say different but some are still saying it!"

"Boycie 2:10 Sun Apr 21 Pull your head out of your arse. We was in a relegation fight last season. We have been embarrassed several times this season with proper beatings. 5-0, 6-0, 5-2, 4-1, 4-0 and all this with a manager that is supposedly hard to beat. So now we have a manager that's easy to beat and we play shit football. I said it yesterday, any West Ham fan defending Moyes still is either an attention seeker or just likes to argue."
