", 1:45 Tue Apr 23 I'd want people to stop calling the Premier League the ""EPL"" (and awful, lazy Americanism). We can't all have our own way."

"‘Sydney, you're all over the fucking place. You're absolutely not against this type of appointment, yet you're fervently questioning this type of appointment?’ Yeah. Got an incredible amount to say for someone who in every post admits he doesn’t know anything about him or much outside of West Ham. Maybe just sit this one out? No, keep posting ‘I’m not against it’ whilst gradually displaying more reason you are. Might as well just admit he would rather keep Moyes."

"I want a new manager who can break the following records, as an EPL team, currently held by David Moyes. Nineteen wins in a season Sixty five points in a season Two consecutive seasons with a positive goal difference A trophy of note The Moyes record that I don’t want the new manager to break is twenty one defeats in a league season. Bilic still holds two records for us they being fewest defeats in a season at eight and highest number of draws in a season at fourteen. He was also the first manager of ours to achieve a positive goal difference season."

Questions at the interview. 1. How do you feel about working with the boards preferred agents? 2. Would you be able to cope with having the odd South American punt thrown your way? 3. How do you feel about changing agents?

Literally anyone that can manage A. A squad of more than 14 players. B. Can manage to NOT ship 10 goals against the might of Fulham and Palace. C. Isn't David Moyes.

"They did knock Arsenal out of Europa last year. I doubt we'd be able to attract him anyway, but the slim chance we have is before he has managed in a top league then we'd have no chance."

"Sydney, you're all over the fucking place. You're absolutely not against this type of appointment, yet you're fervently questioning this type of appointment? Fucking weird. We are not going to be able to appoint someone like Klopp or Guardiola. We need to try to find the next one, before one of the Oil clubs nips in. This bloke has ALL the credentials, in fact, he's done too much already in his career to join a club that is likely to finish in the bottom half of the Prem. This would be an absolutely outstanding move for the club, and we're clearly trying to get him in, I just don't think it will happen. But thank fuck the club are at least looking in the right direction."

My initial thought was that Amorim was talking to us as he is trying to bump Liverpool into making him an offer Looking at a couple of Liverpool sites it seems they are looking at others and that Slot of Feyenoord is getting more attention If thats the case we need to move quick before others move in or Liverpool reassess

"fraser Big difference to doing it in the Bundesliga and going great guns in the Europa to winning or doing well in the Portuguese farmers league? dont get me wrong though, im not against this type of appointment, quite the reverse in fact, just questioning (with my limited knowledge) how good this bloke is, AND despite what people say would Sullivan give it the green light? all very well talking to the bloke but Sulli will have the final say, even though the DOF is in charge"

"Well i hope if we do appoint this Amorim fella it all works out, and im all for a young progressive coach who plays good football. Im just skeptical this bloke isn't being hyped a bit, everywhere you look he's touted as this great coach, but im sure many who follow football like me don't really follow or watch that many Portuguese games? so not sure the tag is warranted just yet. Happy to be proved that he is in fact the naxt Alonso BTW, also skeptical the Sullivan would take this punt, he's a pretty conservative old fucker, AND the rumor is we have offered far more than Liverpool plus any compensation to Sporting, would Sulli really roll the dice for this?????"

"It's great that we appear to be a little proactive with this. If all this is true, then it will definitely mean Moyes is off and we're looking at trying to bring someone in now, rather than wait until he's actually left the building. There could be quite a few managers on the move this summer. We need to get in early to get the one we want."

West Ham News & Views @WestHamViews_ Ruben Amorim arrived back in Lisbon late last night after holding a meeting with West Ham United in London. The 39 year old refused to comment on the meeting and only said 'Until Saturday'. Saturday is when Sporting have their next press conference. ‚öíÔ?è #WHUFC #COYI https://twitter.com/westhamviews_/status/1782650217667367127?s=46

"Steve Cooper, Christ I forgot about him being out of work. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest, blokes a complete walk over, right up Sullivans street. Didn’t think we’d get an uglier manager than Moyes but fuck me he takes the biscuit."

EdinTerzic must know Sullivan from his Bilic days so he must be a possibility. He has good head coach stats in Germany so I suggest he qualifies for an interview at Sully Towers! It will increase Moysie’s blood pressure at least.

"Fonseca took over Porto, who are THE biggest club in Portugal, who had previously won the title in the 3 years previously, and couldn't win the league with them. I'd take Amorim over Fonseca."

"Well on the surface of it, this Amorim bloke has won the Portuguese league (Div1 or CC level?) with lets face it one of the biggest clubs in that country's league, granted they had seen some lean years between drinks. But surely you would want to see a bit more before getting very excited, someone like Fonseca has a ton more experience? Just seems to me as if he has good marketing people and he's touted as the real deal without having actually won or done anything outside of a second-string European league. But hey, Alonso was taken by Leverkusen from a mid-table Spanish team where he managed the B side................... But what the fuck do i know, an armchair West Ham fan who doesn't really follow European football outside of the CL and Europa comps"

"Sport Witness @Sport_Witness ?üö®?üáµ?üá??üëáRuben Amorim | From Portugal: West Ham offer ‚Äòconsiderably higher‚Äô than Liverpool ‚Ä¢ More than that - Hammers are offering 'the freedom to design a squad to his liking, according to his ideas' ‚Ä¢ Remember, Amorim was recently called the manager with the Midas touch after helping to develop the likes of: Pedro Porro, Manuel Ugarte, Matheus Nunes, Nuno Mendes, Joao Palhinha, Viktor Gyokeres, Marcus Edwards, Gonzalo Inacio, Pedro Goncalves and Ousmane Diomande http://sportwitness.co.uk/portugal-liverpool-west-ham-offer-considerably-higher-crucially-comes-power-design-squad/ #whufc #coyi #lfc"

It’s very satisfying to see this building a head of media steam this morning. What may have started out a mere arsesmoke from the club to distract the fans calling for Moyes’s head and generate season-ticket sales may actually have triggered a process that has gone beyond the board’s control. Of course there will still be a few who call fans’ pressure of this kind pathetic because of those magic European nights (cringe) but this is also an opportunity for them to reflect on their own reactions when we tap into resources for positive change.
