"For several years now we always seem to have an old, slow squad. Ironically Fornals, Benny, Kehrer and Scammaca were all of the age where you would get a fair few years out of them. All of the others are amongst our worst managers at least going on win percentage (including Moyes' first stint). I'll be happy to see the back of him. This isn't a defense of him. This is more to point out how badly our owners have fucked up previous appointment. Hopefully Steidten has some real pull here. Otherwise I think it's Benitez or dyche whoever will be less fussy about our lack of transfer dealings.

He's had approximately 400m over his tenure and lost us tens of millions by refusing to play many of those players and devaluating them. (Rice is a generational talent so doesn't count) With the crackdown on FFP it's simply unsustainable. Even Sullivan is not that stupid and patient, he's obviously seen the light at last and respects Steiden who to his credit he brought to the club. Thanks for the memories, I don't hate him as many appear to do, just think his methods, stubbornness and actions have finally come back to bite him."
