"I am ready to curse Fonseca. If he were to get it I’m sure all the U21 prospects would get career threatening injuries, and our best players all leave or suffer dramatic losses of form :-( Thats how a vote from “Lucky Alf” usually goes. But being slightly more optimistic ( oxymoron when my name is mentioned ), he has won league titles, uses young un’s a lot and believes in possession and attack minded tactics. We’ll end up with “Lopteguiball” wont we? :-("

"I'm more than happy with it being Fonseca, Lopetegui, Tuchel, Bob Hoeness if it isn't likely to be Amorim, which is the wet football dream of all football dreams these days for us to wish for. And I'm being ever so careful about it, Football God's, I've been warned so many times by Ex bitter Pros/WHU managers, I wouldn't dare."

I'd have liked Potter but I got no clue what if he is ready to get back into management as his last job seemed to really do a number on him.

"I personally think Howe and his assistant are a couple of cunts but if the club think they are what we need then I will support them. I certainly wouldn't put them in my top 5 but unlike most people on here I'll support the manager even if I dislike them, unless it's Sam Allardyce and then I'll be starting up an "" Allardyce out "" post."

Whoever steitden wants will end up getting the gig . It was kretinsky who brought him in . He likes hoeness of Stuttgart. as long as he's willing to break the recently signed new contract. I fully expect he's the man .

"Wonder how much truth is in the rumour that Sullivan has unzipped for Loptegui? Its a good wind up mind. He may not be a disaster but his track record is nit exactly stellar and he’s only really achieved standout success at Seville and that was not sustained and cost him his job. Mediocre at Madrid and Spanish national team and not the kost expansive tactically often favouring defend and counter. Sullivan has a questionable understanding of the game based on most of his previous appointments and his transfer “picks” but has the money. He’s like that Florence Foster Jenkins who sang like a strangled cat but no one told her and 100s turned up for a laugh at her concerts. Loptegui could well be followed by the re-appointment of Moyes :-(. Steidten needs to have final say on recommendation and shoukd walk if Sullivan over rules him in the board meeting imho assuming its true that Sully wants another old git with what appears to be a “razzle dazzle”’ CV on first glance based on clubs he’s been at. That Sullivan all over. Goes for tge 1997 Jaguar with all the gadgets, big bling wheels and spoiler, V12 engine that roars but it spends months breaking down or off yye riad being repaired. The new smaller, plain but versatile Toyota no problems at all. Bad analogy, but I dont have any trust in Sullivan to leave the decision to tge bloke he hired and who’s jib it us to get the best fit"

"logic still points to fonseca. plays the right way, has built an impressive CV, is both young enough and old enough at the same time, handsome boat, is out of contract in june, sullivan was interested in his services before when he was at less appealing point in his career. probably the most attainable name that i reckon most of us would be content with."

"Amorim would be my first choice, but I do like the cut of Fonseca's jib and he's been looking linked with Premier League moves in the past with Spurs, Newcastle and Villa. In an interview for French media RMC about his Lille debut, Fonseca described his managerial style as ""an offensive play in order to overcome the opponent, to settle in the opponent's half and to create many scoring chances."" Couldn't be more different to Moyes."

"How nice would it be to bring in a young, hungry manager with his best days ahead of him, where the first game of the season the fans are actually genuinely united in their support, and willing him to be the man to take us to the next level. It already sounds like Lopetgu isn't going to be that man seeing as he's dividing fans quite strongly. Amorim ticks all the boxes but looks to probably be a step too far for us at the moment. But there has to be others out there that will genuinely excite us and we can realistically attract?"

We can do better than Lopetegui. Everyone is going on about Arne Slot being amazing yet Feyenoord sit 9 points behind a PSV side that have scored over 100 goals and lost just 1 game so does that mean Peter Bosz is better? I still like Fonseca or Amorin but I'd take Howe if he get's the boot from Newcastle. No to Silva. He is just another Moyes type who likes to focus on defence.

"Rubbish. This is a bloke who got sacked by Real Madrid after three months, sacked by Sevilla and got Wolves up to the dizzy heights of 13th. He is nearly 60 and has achieved little in management. are you that dim? winning the europa league managing Spain managing Real Madrid managing Sevilla over 3 years - they finished 4th every year. what did you expect him to do with Wolves in those circumstances?"

"Regardless of his abilities, or not, he doesn't strike me as much of a personality, a good fit for us, and someone our fans would take to, unless he wins every week of course. Anyhow, why all the Lop talk, we haven't even spoken to him as far as I know?"
