"Seems if the press are to be believed the very public meeting Amorim had with us was all for show and to get Liverpool's attention? I also note that several West Ham YT channels were saying that Amorim was going to put out a statement on Friday as to why he turned down West Ham! I haven't seen anything about any statement, but it's also now almost certain (as of Friday!) that Slot is off to Liverpool, maybe Amorim is having second thoughts if no statement was forthcoming and this time taking our interest seriously. This is all pure speculation mind!!!"

believe it's from fonseca alfs. if amorim's not interested he's such a blindly obvious choice then you'd hope it would get sorted fairly quickly. bloke is even happy working as a head coach rather than a manager (that's his role at lille).

"Lopetegui clear favorite, and not long ago im sure that would be a popular choice amongst fans? But now its Sullivan driving it if rumors are true then some go luke warm? A Loptegui OUT thread could be on the cards sooner rather than later LOL Neither for or against Lopetegui should it happen and had that stance all along, also seen rumors that Vincent Kompany could be an option, not against that either, the bloke from Sporting could be back on if Slot is going to Liverpool, if his trip to West Ham was to get Liverpool to pull the finger out, its backfired!!! Although i would be shocked if Sulli was prepared to pay his sizable release clause!"

"Edin Terzic is worth a look, having been a coach here already, but I doubt he'd want to leave Dortmund or Sullivan would risk it. What M??chel has done at Girona is hugely impressive as well, but again not someone I'd ever expect Sullivan to go for. Which is why we need a new chairman as much as a manager."

His Roma team towards the end were one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen. I think they got done at Manchester United by 6 or 7. But that was a couple of years ago and he seems to have found his mojo again at Lille.

"Fonseca is an interesting one he's done well with most clubs he's been at and nearly joined Tottenham but they stalled at the last minute and went for Conte doing well at Lille who are a small club in France unlucky to miss out against Villa in the conference and sitting in 4th spot in Ligue 1 I do think that Sullivan needs to stop dithering , decide who he wants and commit to it."

"LJC 10:34 Fri Apr 26 To be able to offer the position immediately should the incoming manager want it and if not at least sign him to a contract. It was my understanding there's a gentlemen's agreement in the prem that new managers won't sign if the current manager still has his position, hence the Martin O'neil debacle when Lady Brady flapped her fat gob about him taking over for uncle avram before they let him go."

"""I have some principles...To build a team who can play attractive and offensive football. I cannot be a different way. All my teams will have these intentions. I’m not sending out my teams to defend near their own box. “All players want to have the ball. They want to dominate. They want to participate. They don’t want to run to recover the ball. They don’t want to run without the ball and defend. The best way to defend is to have the ball. “We have an obligation with supporters to create a spectacle, a good show. That is the obligation of the coach. I want to win every game but just winning is not enough for me. I have to be offensive and dominate the games and have an offensive midfield and show courage in the game. These are things which will die with me. “It happened so many times when I got home after winning a game and my wife asked ‘why are you unhappy?’ And it is because I didn’t win the way I wanted to. It is not enough. I have to create a good show for the people who pay the tickets and love football. At least I try. I cannot be a coach in another way.” YES. FUCKING. PLEASE."

"If it is to be Lopetegui then so be it, he’s still a level above Moyes. He’s not at the top of my list, but he’s an improvement and I’d like to see what he can do."

"Sullivan kept Moyes past his sell by date, and will then attempt to redeem himself by appointing the wrong man. Classic Sullivan."
