"Got what we deserved, nothing. Moyes is pure football poison. If Sullivan gives him another contract there should be protests to hound them all out."

Nutsin 6:20 Sun Apr 14 Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread ‚ÄúPaqueta‚Äôs showboating needs to stop. Moyes needs to rip into him at half time and if it doesn‚Äôt stop pull him off ‚Äú I don‚Äôt see the point in rewarding him.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"In Paqueta’s defence, I think he tries too much due to a combination of nobody to pass to because we are so fucking static, and because we see so little of the ball, and he in particular out on left wing that he’s so bored, he wants to make the most of it and try to make something happen. He doesn’t do it when played in his actual position for Brazil. Wait til he’s playing for Man City, having loads of the ball and playing in a team who want to attack. He’ll dictate play from centre midfield. And that’s the joke. Good enough for a centre midfield position for Brazil and Man City. Only good enough for left wing at West Ham."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"Hope George Earthy is ok, did more in 3 mins than most achieved in 90. If Moyes can't set up a solid defensive system that regularly hits teams on the break then he offers nothing as he can't set up a team offensively. To be fair if you were looking to have a top 11 next season IMO only Areola, Emerson (possibly), Paqueta (not on today's performance), Kudus and Bowen make the cut. Not convinced on Alvarez to be honest. The rest not good enough. Paqueta and Kudus will probably go, or at least there will certainly be offers. Bowen may have a bot of loyalty about him. At least soon the media won't be giving it the ""you are in the top 10 and Europe, what you moaning about"" routine!"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"7-0 Fulham have done us this season. Both times they’ve completely out thought and out played us. They sure as hell don’t have better players so please tell me the difference. Same old same old. We have zero idea of how to get from one end of the pitch to the other. There’s minimal movement and the player on the ball usually only has backwards options. In possession we’re a million miles away from good enough. Out of possession, if we’re not camping on our own 18 yard box we get exposed so easily. All in all - shit."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"I see the usual haters are out with glee today, giddy with the fact we lost. Only a Spurs fan would be excited about us not playing in Europe next year. Paqueta is a professional he needs to show up every fucking game, bored, frustrated or otherwise he needs to play for the team. What we saw from Paqueta today was complete garbage. Any player that thinks he is above the team should be benched. He cost us the second goal and put us on the back foot all fucking game. Kudus and Antonio have a right to be frustrated at Paqueta. Mavropanos was found out without having Zouma play along side him, he needs to go too in the summer. Biggest mistake we have made is letting Dawson go. No idea who is to blame for the lack of new faces in January but that is also a mistake that was obvious at the time. Not an easy task to juggle a squad this time of year while competing against tough opponents in Europe, still it’s a nice problem to have. It’s not over yet, there is still a twist or two in the tail, can’t see us catching Newcastle, Man U are vulnerable though and Chelsea has a brutal run in as does Brighton. So not the end of the world. Spurs has a brutal run in too so will be hilarious to see them get pipped by Newcastle for the Champs league spot."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"As I said after the midweek match send him on garden leave and let Steidten and Noble manage the team while we search for our new manager. Moyes is way past his best and the tragedy today was when he did at long last bring on a 19 year old the lad got injured, hope its not too bad. As for next Thursday its clear with moyes in charge we have no chance but at least those who go will see some attacking football, against us!!! Yuk!!! So Fulham 7-0 Hammers this season, unbelievable!!!"

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
Let's face it nothing will change until the Dwarf sells the club. Every January we basically throw the season by not building on any momentum we have. And any new owner will have to tackle the issue of the London Stadium. I don't think it's easy raising the team after Thursday where we were 10 mins away from actually achieving a result out in Leverkusen but it just seems to be spoiling tactics only from Moyes. Our defence keep making mistakes so we cannot keep a clean sheet. For a defensive manager that's kinda inexplicable. We also don't have a top striker and anyone that does sign hasn't worked in our Moyes system so I think it's inevitably goodbye Moyes this summer & let Steidten do his thing as ironically Leverkusen have benefitted from. I still think our ownership is a huge issue. Not enough ambition. Felt very sorry for Earthy. Just when Moyes actually does play one of the youngsters he gets an injury like that. Not a good day :/ Hope he recovers fast.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"Steidten over Moyes for recruitment is a no brainer, yet I'm not convinced he's the messiah if Mavropanos is the best centre back he can find for £25m in the world"

Good post twoleftfeet . That was exactly what should have happened. We genuinely have the only owner that puts himself. ahead of the good of the club. He's petrified of any media criticism. Which is an absolute joke in itself . given he did a prison sentence for living off immoral earnings .

*Not sure I understand him playing him left wing when he's a central midfielder though.

Earthy is conscious and being taken to hospital with a head injury. I hope he's ok. I thought he looked very bright in the few minutes he was on. Not sure I understand him playing him pitch wrong when he's a central midfielder though. The manager's tactics are shit.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
Both their goals started with paqueta losing the ball centrally .
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"We have 5 or 6 very good players for tge Premiership and 5 or so who could be developed but until last summer Moyes was supposedly overseeing all recruitment although the treatment of some players suggests others like Sully still bringing them in. Moyes used passive aggressive behaviour to make clear who he didnt want unless they surprised him of course and were decebt from day 1 Fulham have a better squad than ours even if they only have 1or 2 that are real quality. Clear plan, squad developed etc so that their “sum of the parts” is often better than ours especially when we get an injury to one of our 5 stars. Paqueta fvcked up a lot today trying to hold onto it too long or dribble through or simply making a poor pass but put him in a team like City with movement and options all around and he will look a lot better unfortunately for us. But him going and a large fee is now essential to rebuild a squad or team under a manager that quite simply has run out of steam, is over worked with injuries and suspensions taking their toll. I do fear that Sullivan will bottle it but we must pray that Steidten will be driving the change. Moyes did a good job overall but the conference win saw him stay on a season too long. The season is over unless Bowen and others make a speedy recovery and we somehow get some energy and extreme luck with other results etc. Our results since xmas are relegation level not euro qualifiers. Us dropping in the table should remove the wool from a lot of peoples eyes now but it will take our exit this Thurs to do it I expect. Moyes race is run. Time for change. Lets hope we move fast as possible and not do our usual impression of “a deer in the headlights” Ta ta Davey"

"Paqueta ain't the issue, he's been bored and battered into submission by Moyes tactics. Yet again stuck on the left wing at the start of the game looking disinterested a lot of the time. The frustration was written all over him today and I don't blame him 1 bit for putting up with such dated, defensive tactics for so long."
