Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"I’ll m a bit tired of the “look what he’s done for us” narrative. It’s stupid. This is a big business sport here. The heads of big organisations don’t get to run off reputation and memories of the past. You have targets and budgets and you need to succeed. And if you don’t your out. And your paid handsomely for your troubles. Moyes is no different to any other leader out there. The reality is for the money we have spent over the last 5yrs he’s not achieved more than what we would expect from ANY manager who was given his resources. You can see that because some managers around him that were given the same of less have achieved more in the same period. More importantly, for anyone who actually watches our team (I.e.the fans) all Moyes’ failures are so obvious and unforced I don’t really understand the debate as to whether he’s good at his job. Yes we won a recently invented lower tier European competition where we have a squad worth double or triple what anyone else’s was worth. That’s great. But we as fans know it’s a bit of bollocks to compare that to European comps that teams in the past have won. Basically he’s done well at making us a well run club. I thank him for that. But he needs to go upstairs or something because as a coach he is not it. He’s just not very good at it. Not at this level, not with top resources. It’s not a debate anymore. And the excuses of “they’re a champions league club” about leverkusen. Ffs. Your squad is worth more than theirs and you play in a tougher league. You should be able to give them a fucking game! I really really hate his excuses."

"Nutsin stop defending him... for christs sake listen to yourself. You go on about attracting player by staying in Europe its only what we are saying... if he wasnt such a coward we wouldve picked up wins against Bournemouth, Burnley, Forest and Sheff Utd... we wouldnt have lost to Newcastle or Villa and we would be in right up there in the mix for top 6... But he is a coward and so we are where we are because of Moyes not the players... You say but what do you expect playing Thursday and Sunday the players will be tired of course they will cos Moyes likes a small squad and Moyes wont rotate so who's fault is that Moyes's... Im not sure why you are arguing cos everytime you make a point we can argue its Moyes's fault and thats why hes going."

"This is what Moyes will leave us with... Fabianski - great servant, too old Coufal - unhappy with contract offer so nearing end but otherwise should be cover not a starter Johnson - average under Moyes and on his way Zouma - crocked Mavropanos - not good enough Aguerd - not good enough Ogbonna - great servant, too old Cresswell - done Paqueta - on his way Antonio - too old to rely upon as main striker but decent back up 3rd striker Cornet - destroyed Ings - shot to bits That's 12 positions needing strengthening before even starting the Ward-Prowse and Soucek debates or whether Kudus will hang around. It's a fucking dereliction of duty and anyone suggesting he's done a great job is, frankly, away with the fairies That 12 players needing replacement"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"North bank I said all along I’d give it until the end of the season. Today Paqueta should have been pulled, he kept giving the ball away partly because he likes to show boat and partly because he was tired and took the lazy option. So Moyes gets blame there. He’s not perfect, but the vile hate towards him on here is pathetic. They slag him off while apparently travelling to Europe for a football trip to remember."

"""What makes you so sure you know what actually went down and that Moyes was actually to blame."" it's widely acknowledged that when he signed the new contract, that is due to end soon (thank fuck), that he had final say on comings and goings. january was the second time in three years he refused/failed to strengthen the squad when in a great position. what's worse this time, is he allowed three valuable squad players to go (for peanuts compared to what we paid for them). it's fucking unforgivable doing it multiple times, but what's more unforgivable is being in a great position in the league yet deciding a league cup quarter final isn't worth winning. this against liverpool reserves"

"Here’s Al little perspective Fulham beat Man U 2-1 in Feb at Old trafford. Our next Prem opponent Palace just beat Liverpool at Anfield. There is no such thing as an easy win in the premier league. Not even for the best teams, remember that."

"I guess I’m a realist. We are not far off from being a top side challenging for all the spoils to cut it off at the knees and take a risk bringing in a whole new manager and system is in all honesty a bit fucking stupid. You ain't a realist, you're a pessimist much like Moyes when it comes to believing in our Club. As for being fucking stupid to want to change managers, I bet all those brainless Brummies were more careful for what they wished for when the Club decided to ditch their manager and go all out to get Emery in. Whilst we still dream of 1 day being a top side challenging nearer the top , Villa who have been more recently relegated than us have suddenly overtaken us as we are left behind napping. To be expected to be fair with how Moyes sends us all to sleep during games."

"Nuts. It doesn't matter what payers did or didn't come in or 'slipped through the net. We could have a squad of Messi's, Salah's and Mbabbe's and this cսnt (moyes) would still drum the football out of them. He only knows one way to set up a side and it is fucking soul destroying for those who have to watch it. Fuck knows what Palace will do to us next week, they were superb at Anfield."

"""Well that‚Äôs where we differ Surf, I don‚Äôt think he has failed to do it, look at where we are and what he‚Äôs achieved considering where we were when he took over"" we're no further forward. almost half a billion pounds spent and he's still relying on an inner circle of favourites that totals about thirteen players. the rest he doesn't like or trust. the stats for substitution minutes is disgusting, he hasn't got a fucking clue what to do but the div cult members can't get enough of him ?üòÇ"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
We are not far off from being a top side challenging for all the spoils Hahahahha we are a terrible football team who wins the odd game through corners or Kudus going on a run. We can’t break down polystyrene.

"Taki the angry tard, How do you know all the blame falls on Moyes? How do you know we didn’t have replacements lined up that fell through at the very end. How do you know if Sullivan or the selling team didn’t pull the plug? What makes you so sure you know what actually went down and that Moyes was actually to blame. If memory serves it was reported that we tried to stop the sale of Benny at the death but we were forced to let him go, although who knows that story too could be made up bullshit. So stop with your pathetic angry tirades you tard and shut the fuck up."

"Vexed has this spot on. Man for man they are no better than us. But they are good to watch, play like they want to win rather than not lose and commit to actually winning games. I've been saying for ages that if Moyesball was successful then you could put up an argument in favour of it but in a managerial career spanning nearly 25 years, Moyes has won the European equivalent of the vanarama trophy. Nothing more than an arrogant, fraudulent deluded cսnt!"

Bloody awful result. Fulham have played better recently but still. Can't blame team. Moyes doesn't use his squad. On the funny side though : https://twitter.com/sheaaro/status/1779481200047833327?s=48

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Fulham - Official Match Thread
"Some of your points on the squad I agree with. However the squad is what it is. To make what seems to be a conscious decision continually to ignore Ings, Cornet and many suitable youth on the bench that should and easily could have had many more minutes by now is a big mistake. Especially when the decision was taken to let Fornals and Benny leave in January. Moyes has a lot of experience and he has to know you can’t expect to sustain Prem and Cup runs with playing only 12-13 players. He bemoans how tired they are Thursday to Sunday, but also likes to remind us how fortunate we are yet again to be in Europe then uses the well known format and scheduling of it to defend poor performances almost every time that schedule comes around. A good manager plans ahead and uses the squad and prepares them for what’s ahead. How in any way has Moyes suceeded in doing this - despite the fact - as he will often remind us - we’ve been playing in this exact format for three seasons. I don’t know who chose which player when buying so can’t say if his choices were good bad or indifferent. But - that is the squad and you must maximise your options. He’s failed to do it. We have players almost always playing out of natural positions - why? Bad luck? A run of issues outside his control? No - bad management. Combine all that with one Plan, plan A, and no obvious alternate way of playing and we are truly found out by most teams. The small squad is tired and out of gas at the most vital time of the season. And it’s down to him."
