It appears to be very difficult for teams with our depth of squad to beat mediocre teams on Sunday when they’ve played the previous Thursday. I had very low expectations before the Fulham game and actually feel more positive about us playing well against Leverkusen. They expended a lot of emotion energy and adrenaline against Bayern yesterday. Let’s hope they also went out on a bender. Such a shame there’s probably no Bowen and our defence is so error prone. Still think we’ll score first and make a game of it. It’s on my birthday so obviously West Ham will probably pull back to 2-2 then lose on penalties.
