All the other PL teams have gone out so far.... we have nothing to lose (apart from our pride in a 0-6 tonking) so let's hope we just go for it and if we do go out then at least go down fighting!

Hard to come up with the optimism that we will get a result. If Bowen is fit it gives us more of a chance but the midfield is where I think we have little to no chance. Saying that I’ll get behind the team and enjoy the game. Likely to be the last European game for a while

As Englands only current European champions let’s show some pride tonight. If we are going down let’s go down fighting. I did for am looking forward to it. Hopefully the handbrake got broken in Germany last week. Let’s go for it. I have seen a lot of German football and no team (other than Bayern) have actually had a go at them. Im so pessimistic and missrable that I dreamt we lost 0-5 last night :-( I just dont see a way we can keep them from scoring and get a couple of goals as penalties is the only way we survive I would think. Moyes attempts to play on the proverbial “front foot” tend to be accompanied by setting us up to be wide open to counter attacks which Leverkusen have allegedly been the masters of winning the Bundesliega? Roy Keane described us as “old and slow” when we lost 0-6 to Arsenal. Lets hope we dont go down that way again and Antonio or someone has the game of their lives and everything we hit goes in.
