It's the hope that kills you Len. Ten mins in this will be over. It's Moyes. No Paq. Done.

I was convinced we were dead and buried last week but today I am feeling confident for some inexplicable reason. WE WILL DEFEAT BAYER LEVERKUSEN BY TWO GOALS TO NIL AND WIN AFTER EXTRA TIME. STAND ON ME.

By the end of the night Bayer will have tasted defeat for the first time ... 4-0 Soucek with a couple of overhead kicks & two 30 yarders .... and the manager will be known as SHABBY Alonso COYI

En route to the Carpenters Arms with the other half for 1 or 3 looking forward to a decent night under the lights. Fingers crossed Moyes can pull a massive rabbit out of the hat and we manage to go through. Come on you Irons!

"What a weird specimen daveyg is. Writes us off and then on a following post wants to know where he can watch the match. Why bother if you know we are going to lose? I‚Äôll be at the ground, supporting the side, unlike him the fucking armchair critic. I wonder if he has even been to the new ground ?ü§î"

Can anyone offer any good steams for tonight. I've been using TV-SHALL SHOOT LIVE. They were good but now are awful with the usual adverts taking over and offering nothing to watch.

"I think we’d have all taken a one nil loss last week, so an early goal tonight puts us back in that position. Stadium will be electric if that happens too. If ever play it safe Dave needed to roll the dice, it’s tonight."

"We really should play on the front foot and take the game to them. Trouble is, under Moyes we will almost certainly only manage to do that for for about a quarter of the game, especially against quality opposition like this. What really frustrates me is that we're far more likely to concede when we sit back and invite them onto us. Yes, we might score on the break but I would be more confident of that if Antonio was capable of finishing when one on one with the keeper. Let's face it, we're going out tonight. And for the benefit of that idiot yorkammer, no, that is NOT what I want to happen."

"Feeling strangely chippy about this and looking forward to it. We're not out of it though it has felt like it the past week Nothing to lose, score first and it's game back on. Hoping they also may take their eye off the ball after wrapping up their league on Sunday. Law of averages says they are due a defeat, why not tonight, as long as we are up for it and approach the game on the front foot from the start. Obviously there is the Moyes factor to worry about where he instructs them to keep it tight for the first half, and the danger of them scoring first which obviously kills it. IRONS"
