"Nutsin 9:21 Sat Apr 27 Why do you engage with football chat? You don't know the first thing about football. No one is moaning about not winning today, we are moaning about not TRYING to win, you thick wally. A draw was season completely over, and win would have left us with a chance of salvaging something, so why no throw the kitchen sink at it? Stick to baseball."

"Just got in from a nice 11.5 hour round trip to the soulless bowl, I was fortunate to catch some Zzzs between 12.30 to 2.20 pm. Moyes said in his post match press conference that he'll be ""glad to see the back of Klopp"", Moysie, can I call you that, I'll reciprocate those sentiments to you. Only two more games and it will start to be enjoyable going to football again"

Taylor was poor as per usual but I think we got away with one when Areola threw the ball forward and stood there. Taylor hadn't given a free kick so surprised the Liverpool player didn't just put it in the net. Surprised Areola just didn't throw it into touch.

"How on earth can anyone say they're satisfied with a point? A draw was absolutely useless to us, we needed to win to stand any chance of salvaging something from this utter borefest of a season by (somehow) qualifying for Europe. No chance now. But yeah, a great point that is, essentially, pointless at this stage. Why the fuck not go all out to win? Oh, yeah. Of course."

"both teams were a bit crap which neither team had the ability to take advantage of. we were fully rested and were one CB away from having our first XI out. that was as good as it's going to get and the commentators spent most the game talking about how tired and lifeless the game was. if there was ever a match to go all guns blazing and make a statement this was it, instead we meekly turned up and collected a point."

"I'm a bit disappointed we didn't win. Leading up to our 2nd goal we had them overrun, they were in a mess. I thought we would keep going and get a third. It was seriously intense attacking from us, but I guess it is hard to keep that going for long. We really deserved the second goal, a great period of play."

"Funnily enough the most animated that posters got on here was when liverpool equalised, virtually ignored our goal. Sums up the majority of posters sadly."

"""How did the ref not give a free kick and dish out a yellow for Kudus being dragged back?"" Maybe he hates Moyes' counter-attacking tactics..."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Liverpool - Official Match Thread - Preview
Why reward Paqueta for that first half performance?

"I thought we were dreadful, I think i'd pulled off Paqueta at half time, he was terrible. Lets be honest if Liverpool could finsih they'd have been out of sight. Ref did have his red shirt on though. I often wonder if Moyes watches the same games i do. They ran us ragid for 25 minutes after half time, why did he not change it?"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Liverpool - Official Match Thread - Preview
Would have taken a score draw before the game given how vunerable our defence is these days. To be fair Liverpool are still a good side and were unable to finish the many chances the had today.

"It's a point I didn't expect, but a pointless point overall. How did the ref not give a free kick and dish out a yellow for Kudus being dragged back? And this is the man chosen to ref at the Euros????"

"It was crap, played at a low tempo and didn't look that interested in winning once at 2-2? Moyes will no doubt be over the moon with it."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Liverpool - Official Match Thread - Preview
A fucking disaster !! The way Everton attacked these and we go Low Block @ Home. Fuck off Moyes !!
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Liverpool - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Decent 2-2 against Liverpool but generally thanks to MOM next to Bowen, Areola and one bit of fabulous defending by Coufal. Paqueta very quite today but he just looked frustrated, Kudus not quite the same since he changed his hair style but two bit of quality got us the two goals. Problem is we need to score 3,4 or 5 to win a game. Zouma and Oggy did their best today but we generally have two centre backs there who can't run."
