Re: THE STRUMMING OF HARRY
"Imho anyone calling Tevez a legend is setting the bar very low. The season he appeared for us was legendary though. The club got away, twice, with breaking the rules over player registration and the FA, who should have deducted us points, instead took the easy way out of levelling a fine of £5M."

Re: THE STRUMMING OF HARRY
Represents exactly the caliber we need to be treating as standard. Of course he’s a legend especially as it rankles with so many that he gave us that magic season

Re: THE STRUMMING OF HARRY
"I don’t think Tevez as a West Ham player was a legend, but he was at the core for TWO legendary moments that season at West Ham…. 1. The signing of two Argentinian World Cup Stars (I’ll never forget the WTF of what happened in that window). 2. The great escape."

"What goose said. I wish him well but club legend? No more than a cult hero, wouldn't get near my top 10 legendary players for the club."

Re: THE STRUMMING OF HARRY
"A world class footballer, no doubt, but saw playing in Europe as just business and about the money, never attached himself too closely to any club or its fans. made obscene amounts in China just before the bubble burst, so got lucky. As for his health, I'm sure he'll be alright."

Re: Tevez 'satisfactory' in hospital after chest pains
"Only 40! played a handful of games for us, yes he was Brilliant and one of the best to wear our shirt but legend???? Fucked of to ManU and then when he did have the opportunity to come back and was offered a massive wage that first season at the OS, he took the piss and asked for an even bigger pay cheque. Wish him a speedy recovery, thanks for the memories but do me a favour about being a legend."

Second only to Sir Trev (and possibly Billy Bonds) in my fave WHU players I've seen play.
