Saturday football
"So the race for the title is effectively down to two, with third, fourth and fifth also all but decided. Luton missed a golden opportunity to climb out of the bottom three after drawing at home to Everton last night. They now have to negotiate West Ham (A) and Fulham (H) and hope they emerge with more points than Forest manage from Sheffield Utd (A), Chelsea (H) and Burnley (A). We will also hope to come away from Stamford Bridge with a point or three on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Championship plays out its final round of games today and there are still one or two matters to be decided. Leicester are champions, and Ipswich need a point from virtually relegated Huddersfield to join them in the top flight in August. The third relegation place is between Birmingham (47 points, -16 GD), who host Norwich this afternoon, Plymouth (48 pts, -12 GD) who host Hull, Sheff Wed (50 pts, -26 GD) who play at Sunderland, and Blackburn (50 pts, -16 GD) who go to Leicester. ARSENAL vs BOURNEMOUTH (1230) Home win. BRENTFORD vs FULHAM (1500) Draw. BURNLEY vs NEWCASTLE UNITED (1500) Draw. SHEFFIELD UNITED vs NOTTINGHAM FOREST (1500) Home win. MANCHESTER CITY vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1730) Home win. *SUNDAY* BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs ASTON VILLA (1400) Away win. CHELSEA vs WEST HAM UNITED (1400) Draw. LIVERPOOL vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (1630) Home win. *MONDAY* CRYSTAL PALACE vs MANCHESTER UNITED (2000) Away win."

Re: Saturday football
You'd almost (ALMOST) feel sorry for Kane with an ending like that Subbed off and his MATES throw it away when he was on for a Wembley Champions League Final Southgate needs to seriously consider his JINX factor when picking Euro teams
Re: Saturday football
"You have missed out a very important fixture on Saturday at Wembley Stadium,Coffee. GREAT WAKERING ROVERS FC Versus ROMFORD FC in the FA VASE final, KO 12:15pm"
Re: Saturday football
"Really poor officials last night - that offside flag at the end was ludicrous. Huge incompetence from two officials or clear corruption? McManaman is a terrible co-commentator, thought he’d jizzed himself a few times when they scored the second. What a wanker."

"Neuer cost them that game , should have held that shot. Poor substitutions from Tuchel as well."
Re: Saturday football
"Madrid's winner was well onside. Rudiger wasn't even close to offside and Joselu was behind the ball. Mystifying that the linesman flagged it really since the defender playing Rudiger on was on his side... but not nearly as mystifying as the clusterfuck at the other end. For the two officials to get that so wrong when all the technology is there is extremely questionable. As an aside, is there a co-commentator that actually adds to a game? Ally McCoist, maybe? McManaman is such a dense cսnt, but it seems like a prerequisite"

"Horrible way to lose a semi final, felt for Bayern a bit. Decent game but not as good as the PSG/Dortmund game the night before, that was a cracker."

Re: Saturday football
"That was weird. Complety inexplicable. Why would the ref and linesman combine to both do that wrongly. Then Madrids 2nd looked dodgy, I didn't see the lines. Neuer also, weird he did that, gave the game to them, after playing so well and so confidently. The Madrid good luck machine goes marching on. But at least they were the better team."

Re: Saturday football
"Very controversial end to the game last night, but did the Madrid players stop playing? An outrageous flag by the lino, not only because it goes against current laws, but it would have been impossible for him to have known if it was off or not, and the ref did not have to blow straightaway meaning it couldn't go to var. Tuchel said it wouldn't have happened at the other end, and I'd tend to agree with him. First season in 14 years that Bayern haven't won a trophy. That'll learn 'em from buying Harold Kane."

Re: Saturday football
The way matete effortlessly skipped past flat footed Jonny Evans like he literally wasn’t there for Palace’s second was hilarious and tragic in equal measure. Absolutely embarrassing and shambolic. Makes us look like the Italian national team of old in defence.

Re: Saturday football
Absolute shambles Ming the clueless is presiding over at Man U. How on earth does he still have a job? Don’t get me wrong he’s welcome to stay and help them sink to newer lows but they should have fired him already. Absolute joke he’s linked with Bayern and other jobs. In what other profession is such dismal failure rewarded so handsomely? How can anyone else want to touch him with a barge pole after this?

Re: Saturday football
Watched the first half & Palace stepped onto them & pressed them into errors Treated a team with Jonny Evans & Casemiro as centre halves with the contempt they deserved Played what was in front of them rather than peak Fergie Man U

"This is a proper thrashing. Bye bye Ten Hag. As for penalties, any instance where some ex-pro sagely says ""there was contact"" means it was a blatant dive. Yet VAR still doesn't give penalties where the atttacking player is blatantly cleaned out."

Two-bob TenHaag probably gone this week after tonights mauling. I hear there’s a certain Scottish manager who’ll soon be available.
