twoleftfeet 12:27 Wed May 8 & Massive Attack 12:15 Wed May 8 So they're both pretty similar managing at a level neither will ever manage for us? Some of STATS given to defend either makes me LOL

"Assuming we retain players like Bowen and Kudus there is only so much possession based tippy tappy football we will be able to play. I can't imagine Kudus receiving the ball on the halfway line and passing it sideways (okay, I know he does sometimes), his instinct is to take players on and run with the ball. Same with Bowen. You would imagine therefore that Lop's team will patiently build from the back, learn not to give the ball away before hopefully making a decisive pass to Kudus / Bowen etc... I don't think we will become the sort of team that tries to walk the ball into the goal."

"Ali McCoist, who is certainly one of the better pundits (though still a Moyes apologist) said yesterday that our front 4 was among the best 2 in the PL. On their day I would agree with him."

"If you think about it logically we have very good front players, some say top 4 status, so if Lop can fix up the defense then the logical conclusion is we will have a very good side."

"I'm warming to Loppy. For me it's not just about the football, though anything but the six yard box defending and conceding loads of goals is an approved entry. I want to see proper subs, youth being given a decent run, squad rotation, proactive management and a better rapport with the fans"

The Lopetegui agent is pushing this one HARD.! And the media are doing their part. The Athletic are a mouthpiece for the Sky Six they won’t want anyone encroaching on their patch. It’s going to be a long couple of weeks. Just hope the board keep their powder dry.!

"What if the club paid Moyes the utmost respect by letting him know that they wasn't best pleased with his teams form for a good few months or the kind of thrashings that 'winners' shouldn't get and set a deadline for a turn around win form otherwise they would start looking for replacements due to the fact it is a squad rebuild and the Euro's are on. Why do West Ham have to respect the results he's been getting? The kind of results that would get you the sack at other English clubs that get 60,000+ attendances? Why is our club ALWAYS disrespected for giving a manager enough time to turn things around and then when they don't turn it around we decide to do what's best for the club going forwards?"
