Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"If the shoe was on the other foot, would you want to see West Ham lose under similar circumstances?"

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"No West Ham fans should ever write "" I want to see Spurs win"" when it has ZERO context on us and how we do."
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"Finally one thing I can agree with Spurs fans on. Wanting their team to lose :-) Rather see City win the title again and again to not only keep entitled North London fans in their place and trophyless but also to show clearly that City like all successful teams are essentially buying success via an unfair financial advantage they got, and the other 5 that wanted a super league, before FFP etc came in. Ok we’re always going to see richer clubs win most things but the “playing field” needs to be less “titled” towards an elite. Its all part of a cartel almost now that most foreign fans paying TV subs support only these teams since they win everything and thus thus UEFA, Sky, mediapundits, media outlets etc all want the status quo to continue. Pigs at the trough !"
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"Spurs are pathetic. They would rather play Europa League and finish 5th, than give themselves a chance of finishing 4th and play in the Champions League. Not only that, they are openly admitting that they want to get spanked by Man City. Probably the only time in history I want to see Spurs win. Absolute specimens, every one of them. And No. If this was West Ham and it was Spurs fighting for the title, I couldn't give a shit about them and I would be more interested in our result than theirs."

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"It's a North London double Whammy if they do lose, because not only will City be on course to pip Arsenal AGONISINGLY to the League, but it'll also mean those other North London tossers won't get Champions League football. If you can't understand that London rivalry context, then you never will. Fuck 'em both and do your job, Citeh!"
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"Be funnier if Spurs get a draw tonight to give the Gooners some hope and excitement then City outscore them on sunday to pip them on GD I am happy to lose sunday, i'd much rather see the Arsenal fanbase crying and having a meltdown then see us gain 3 points and not move up in the table And Rice lifting that trophy and the cringey interviews and glances he'll do to camera ....... fuck that! Blueeee Mooooooon!!!!"
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"All the fans travelling up would want us to win. That's why they go up there every season, with the faint hope that this might be the year. Everything points to a standard 5-0 drubbing, but if you don't have hope in football, then we might as well knock it on the head."
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"Just seen Man City have scored 4 or more in 6 of their last 7 league games. I don’t think what Spurs fans want is going to have any relevance. They only know how to play one way, which plays into Man City’s hands. It’s the Mourinho and Conte style they have historically struggled with there."

"It's quite funny that 2 highlights of our season will be getting beat by Leverkusen to stop Spurs from getting a champions league place by finishing 5th, and getting beat by Man City to stop Arsenal from winning the title."

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"simon.s 2:18 Tue May 14 ''I would love us to to beat City. Fuck the consequences.'' Yea I totally get that, it would be extraordinary and would up our profile globally in a big way. I suppose Arsenal's hope is that we need a draw and not a win, so 10 men behind the ball etc, but in reality it will be around 4-0. Even when they went 2 down to Villa on the last day whenever that was, they still fucking won, they are pretty much unbeatable at this point, plus we have the worse defenders in the whole of the PL."
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"I really couldn’t care about winning that game. If we beat City, in all likelihood we finish 9th. If we lose to City, we finish 9th. Winning that fixture would give me about as much joy as winning a pre season fixture against Colchester or someone with it being listed as a West Ham XI, while the first team are out playing abroad. The season finished at Leverkusen for me, but this one couldn’t be more of a dead rubber for us. I don’t care if it goes against sport, I would far more enjoy seeing those Arsenal cunts crying that West Ham rolled over for Man City."

"I really don’t care about other teams. I just want us to win. I suppose, if pushed, I’d rather Arsenal win the PL, than Man City, but that’s because I have more Arsenal mates, than those that support City."

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"If I was to pick our team for the city game, it would be made up of youth players and the couple who are leaving. Plus Anang in goal. But I'd tell them to do their best."
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"Still an outside shot at CL. They have had City's number in recent years, and with Villa playing a very in form Palace, they should be busting a gut to try and get fourth. And the players and manager will want to try and do that. The fans are just idiots."
Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
I see they were letting fireworks off outside the city hotel last night and apparently they weren’t even there. Plus someone got hold of the goalkeeping coaches booking reference and phoned up and cancelled his room - as if that actually happened. Sad bunch really. Just send them a lasagne like the good old days.

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
Isn't it more the fact you don't want to see us help these cunty clubs win things? They go down in history as winners we go down in history as helping Rice win things......

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
Does anyone really want their own team to lose? It goes against everything what a sport of any sort entails. There were a few on here were wanting us to lose because they disliked the manager but they were joking surely?

Re: Spurs wanting their Team to lose
"The funny thing is that Arsenal are relying on us and Spurs.... the 2 biggest bottle jobs in the league. Brilliant. We are losing 4 or 5-0 to Man City, 100%"
