"I think most importantly, the players did try to win the game. That coward argie centre half went flying into the keeper with almost no chance of winning the ball, Maddison was crying about every decision he didn’t get, Van de Ven and Dragusin were celebrating blocks like it was a cup final. They still came up short. That has nothing to do with what the fans did or didn’t want to happen."

You Irons One horse race - Rangers ain't anything like they used to be. Fat Ange is 1 of those hyper-overrated managers in the same bracket as Moyes. Not buying a second of it.

"""Tottenham only had an outside chance of Champions League football anyway"" that's been the media line in defence of their pathetic fanbase. It is, of course, wrong. They just had to win their last 2 games, one of which is against Sheffield United. And hope that Villa lose at Palace. Given that Villa haven't won in 5, and Palace have won 5 out of their last 6 (drawing the other) scoring 16 goals in the process, it was an absolute must win game for them last night. Fine if the game is gone (like the last 10 minutes of injury time) to laugh at Arsenal, but absolute Moyes-like loser mentality to not want to win that last night. Chelsea, Newcastle, Man Utd... they'll all be better next season and they won't get as good a chance again at Champions League football for some time. All of which just serves to make it more amusing. Their manager thinks they're a bunch of morons, and therefore highly likely that some of their better players who actually aspire to anything do as well. Got no love for Villa, but would be wonderful to see them pick off some of Spurs players in the summer so that they can play Champions League football."

Thank god they can't qualify for the Champions League. I got sick of reading it from WHU supporters on here the last few days that they might qualify.

"I get not wanting your fiercest rival not winning the league but, fuck me, those cunts doing the Poznan. That is absolutely fucking pathetic. Should've been ironed out by their own supporters. And as for that wank-stain O'Hara celebrating on TS. Someone on here said he reached a new low. I didn't think it possible but he did. Absolutely shameful scenes and just show Spurs up for what they are....Fucking small time wannabe's. Absolute cunts of the highest order. Fucking wankers."

"Spend the whole season trying to get in the CL and when the opportunity is in their hands, they don‚Äôt want to know, and the fans are happy to lose. Ange has now found out what a cսnt of a club he‚Äôs got himself involved in."

"It's almost as if he was looking for a convenient excuse to fuck off out the Club so he donr have to deal with the wankers anymore, whilst relatively keeping his reputation intact, even though it was him who failed to get them in the Champions League as recently relegated Villa did and was pathetic in the Cups."

"when was the last time there was any trouble at the north london derby? Their 'rivalry' is soft as shit. Like the muggy scouse one where you have people in liverpool and everton shirts sitting next to each other. Its not West Ham Millwall, or Celtic Rangers. What people are talking about is cringey office football 'banter' between people who've never been to a game in their lives. Easy solution to that, don't engage in it. West Ham to get champions league, or lose to stop Chelsea winning the league? Its not even a question. Of course you'd want us to win."

"Of course he was spot on but where he went wrong was saying it out loud to the Media and showing zero understanding and solidarity with his ""fragile"" Spurs supporters with why they desperately don't want to be the Club to effectively hand their bitter rivals the Title at their Stadium again. Context is everything in this and it does matter because they wouldn't ever live it down. Forever and a day reminded by fans like Arsenal and us. Give non answers and deflect the questioning, not to continually attack the fragile fanbase or argue like mad in the dugout with the confused cunts. Fucking fantastic watching them all tearing each other apart though, especially off the back of their previous manager Conte cunting the entire Club off this time last year an all."

"Spurs were 5 points behind Villa with 2 games left. Villa, in dodgy form and without a win in 5 games, go to Palace, in great form, on the last day. There‚Äôs no set of circumstances where the manager called anything wrong in what he said before and after the game. None. He might be a fat Aussie cսnt, but he was spot on. Apart from that, an absolute cringefest of a game ‚Äì one team going for champions league, one team going for the league, absolute silence."

I hope Ange stays and I hope he stubbornly sticks to his philosophy. They’ll win nothing with him if he does.

"Those outraged by the mere suggestion of wanting your club to lose so a rival doesn’t win a trophy are pretty funny. Most are in media and are pretending to be outraged to get a reaction (TalkSPORT) or they just don’t really understand football rivalry. There are a few fans that pretend to be outraged too, but that’s just an attempt to make themselves look and/or feel like they’re a better fan than others. Or they just don’t really understand football rivalry. With a chance of Champions league football I can understand those that think Spurs fans should have wanted to win last night - I’m not sure how I’d have felt in exactly the same circumstances. However, for us on Sunday, season was over weeks ago, I absolutely want to lose if it means Arsenal don’t get the title. I’d prefer us to win and Arsenal to lose, but whatever is needed for that lot not to win I’m good with."

"Big Ange was coming out with with pretty stern comments after the game, talking about things wrong with the foundations of the club, inside and out, he seemed genuinely surprised that some Spuds wanted them to lose. Could get interesting there."
