"2-0 to City at half time, testimonial feel to second half and youngsters given a run out. Declan Rice in tears and Arsenal fan TV in a meltdown accusing West Ham of costing them the league. That's how it will pan out."

"""Rossal I hope we do lose as can't stand Arsenal winning the league but hope Moyes doesnt go out in a whimper like virtually every game for the last 2 seasons"" What an odd thing to say? You hope we lose but you hope we try and win?"

"Moyes doesn't change for nothing or no-one. It will be exactly the same as any other away game against the big six. - Absolutely no surprises in the line-up. - We will try our best to contain and counter. - We probably won't see any youth players as Moyes is still ill from bringing 2 on last week and one of them scoring. - Substitutions will probably be from Ings, Cresswell and Johnson."

"Cheers Charley! 12 years. Shit! As for the game, slim and none regardless of who we pick to play. Should be an entertaining afternoon though. I hope we make it interesting. Also clocked the odds even for a draw. Well worth a flutter if you believe."

Ogbonna has had his farewell so if Mavro or Aguerd are fit you'd expect one to play. You'd like to see Earthy get some real experience against good players but its a bit late in the day for imagination from D Moyes. Maybe Alvarez will be off the naughty step but suspect will be pretty much the same old same old lineup. The performance and effort level of Paqueta will be interesting .... if agreement already in place with Man City cant imagine he will be too interested in shitting on theri celebration

If Dinos is available and he doesnt pick JUST his “loyalists” ( eg JWP and Soucek instead of Alvarez ) and picke those perhaps a bit more motivated to perform ( youngster or two like Earthy or even Johnson who is looking for a new club ). Isnt young Pottsy also available? Play Kudus where he wants to play centrally as more if a number 10 and give Cornet a run in his natural position wide left. It might ( easily might not too I realise ) surprise a few including City. But it will be the team in the positions that overcame Luton eventually. As mentioned old Oggy and Zouma statuesque at the back with Coufal getting the run around and Emerson unprotected All over in 10 mins and a whimpering epilogue ( ironically or coincdentally an anology of Lopetegui :-) ) to the Moyes era culminating in a 3 - 6 nil defeat.

Except he was the only one laughing. Everyone else seemed embarrassed for him. Definitely won't have a career in comedy to fall back on so hopefully for him there will be a queue of big clubs falling over themselves to appoint him

"Be very interesting if it’s still 0-0 after 75 minutes, will City panic and start lumping it, also just imagine all those gooners getting excited, but we all know that City will score inside the first 10 minutes to make it a non event."

BillyJenningsBoots 7:38 Thu May 16 That's Moyes level though isn't it. The plucky loser. The humble over achiever. The traditional manager in a modern game. That's why media love him. He plays to their narrative. I find him embarrassing.
