"Apparently it doesn't, JFK... https://youtube.com/shorts/OQxjNfRO7b4?si=CEJi_ihOnKfbYBU4 While City can hardly be characterised as a plucky underdog, they believe the club is seventh in the list of net spend in the Premier League over the past five years, less than half that of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal but also trailing Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cxe88nmyr00o.amp Guardiola' got a point."
Re: ‚ö? Man City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
"Prior to the game I wasn’t overly interested but after kudu’s overhead (superb) hit the net really wanted us to win, Rather city see win but always deep down want us to get a result against the detriment of London rivals. Short lived of course but had city flustered for a minute or two. Worthy winners.,money talks."

Re: ‚ö? Man City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
At points Kudus attracted the attention of three or even four City players and retained possession before passing to a team-mate. No side can let so many players be pulled out of position and maintain their shape. City got away with this because we don't know how to exploit the space opened up. They created tons of chances for themselves when Doku pulled just two of our players towards himself.

"Thank you charley, it’s a shame such a dire encounter had to be your last match thread. Maybe after a summer off you’ll reconsider if no one else is going to step up (it took me ten minutes just to open the post box just now. Not a problem but I wouldn’t want to take on the responsibility)?"

"Indeed, Toshack. No more endless ""Low block"", allergic of the ball, negative, over defensive, mind numbing Football. I'm excited to see how we develop from here but it'll take time to change a culture of 10 men behind the ball and sort the ageing Squad out. May need a season or 2 to get to grips with it but I'm patient for it to finally get there."

Re: ‚ö? Man City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
"Fraser, I'm fucked off the game panned out as expected like so many times under this gutless manager. That performance beyond Kudus turning it on was embarrassing from minute 1. Moyes rolled over for a pitiful defeat long before anyone else and I'm judt glad that's the end of him which is 1 silver lining. Now we can all look forward together in Lopetegui getting us playing again..."

Re: ‚ö? Man City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
"How very fitting and predictable that the game ends with 27% possession, only 3 shots at goal, 2 on target and 1 goal of the season contender scored and all shots made by the outstanding Kudus that just goes to show we only do well due to individual brilliance amongst a shower of shit Moyes inspired Football. Thank fuck the Gutless One has finally gone."

"If you were Pep would you really buy Paqueta? Also, wouldn’t you want Kudus instead? I don’t remember Pep buying a player who is inconsistent in his current team like Paq is. Just seems really odd."

Re: ‚ö? Man City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
"Well that was shit. Absolutely vindicates the Moyes Out brigade. 22% possession in the second half when chasing the game. You don't mind losing to a top, top team, but the style of play was woeful, and some of these players are very good. Glad this season is over."
Re: ‚ö? Man City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
"to be far 3-1 flatters us somewhat, could easily have been worse. This is the thing under Moyes, we will always go to places like Man City and try not to lose too badly instead of any notion of going toe to toe with them."
