"Jeez Nutsack and wankyd40 He's gone let it go... and the reason he didnt want to stay was the contract was for a Head Coach so he had no choice... and if you beleive he had a choice you are even more stupid than you appear if that's possible ... You are both acting like someone took your toy away, crying like a couple of babies, its pathetic... He was our manager for a few years so what he's gone move on... but you are taking it so personally... just admit you were wrong about him, so what we all make mistakes, yours was to put all your backing behind a manager who had an 18 month purple patch in the league and played virtually no one in Europe for 3 years and won the lowest rated European trophy... yes there were great highlights in there the Sevilla game, the final yes great but those are his highlights in a nutshell... He didnt save us from relegation as everyone makes out either when Bilic left there 27 games to play and Moyes won 8 of them thats all, when he took over from Pellegrini there were 19 games to go and he won 5 of them with a 26% win rate... there was so much time anyone couldve turned that around. you think back to last season 2022-23 we in and out of the bottom 3 and yet Moyes was given much more time than either of the 2 he took over from, because of his 18 previous months credit... but poor old Bilic had just lost Payet that was a massive blow where was his credit for the previous season where we 6th until the last game of the season and finished 7th... HE WASN'T AS GOOD AS YOU BELEIVE"

"Moyes would have had a better time if he would actually explain his decision making to the fans. You can’t keep making decisions and losing or getting smashed 4 and 5 goals and not explaining why you’re making these calls. You can’t expect fans to understand why you let 3 1st team players go and got in a player who has barely kicked a ball for 2 yrs. If you want empathy you must provide explanations. He is wanted empathy without any accountability. And ultimately the fans pay to watch this “product” and what they need is a big factor in all Of this. Ultimately, Moyes is gone and we are still here. We were here when we didn’t win a trophy and we are here regardless of our success. So we are the ones that matter. Not his ego, not his choices, not his sympathy. It’s our club, not his."

"Yesterday summed up perfectly why Moyes time was up. Also fuck MOTD, 2 weeks in a row they've not even mentioned us, not even Kudus's goal was worthy yesterday, and last week it was all about the Liverpool inquest. Agree about goal of the season too. Kudus scored two absolute worldies this season but they Cole Palmers average goal and a few other Liverpool and Man U ones of course that weren't as good."

"Can’t blame him for not wanting to stay. Soucek commented on how the fans were behind the team last year but not this and how it affected his game. Shame we have such retarded fans, reminds me a bit like the Arsenal fans that were all having a melt down over Arteta just before he turned it around. A bunch of spastics with an opinion."

"All I want is a manager who has us competing on the pitch in every game, not a manager who says we'd have no chance against their under 14's. We were comfortably beaten before a ball was kicked. If the new bloke comes in and changes that mentality, then we are moving forward."

"I enjoyed our goal and how it silenced the Mancs for a brief while. But it is stating the bleeding obvious to say that our performance was poor and that next season is a big concern. We are about to bring in a new manager and a load of new players even IF this all goes smoothly it will take time to put into effect on the pitch, (Look at Chelsea for example this year) A slow start is almost guaranteed. Prepare for a bumpy ride next season."

Agree with that Obviously City are an outstanding side and 40 plus unbeaten at home but it was the same old same old timidity As stewie says at h/t there must have been nerves with a one goal lead and Arsenal level and likely to win Work on that nervousness by having a go ..... or drop back and let them regroup Usual cowardly pointless away strategy Am sure everyone understands that Moyes stat of 1 win in 80 something away at 'BIG' teams

"a perfect example of why Moyes' time is up, and has been for a long time. An absolutely pathetic approach to a game, looking like a non-league team in awe of illustrious opponents with 11 men behind the ball, which worked for precisely 79 seconds. They should have been 5-0 up within half an hour, but got complacent, and we get back into the game through a wonder strike. They had dropped off their levels, and all of a sudden everyone was getting a little nervous. Perfect opportunity, then, to get everyone in at half time and have them start fast in the second half. Instead, we reverted to how we started the game, gave them the ball, stood off them, and allowed them the most comfortable second half stroll you'll ever see. It was unthinkably bad and I'd imagine there's players in there who are absolutely fucking delighted this morning."

"Just went to script, din't lay a glove on them. At 2-1 you'd think we would have give it a go and rattle them, but no, it was pathetic after that. Thank fuck this moron has gone, he was a prick right up until the bitter end, his post match presser is excruciating, all the usual soundbites with a stupid grin on his face. Hopefully he has already cleared his desk and headed back north where he belongs."

Has the dejected jock cleared out his locker at Rush Green yet or is he still taking advantage of the free board and lodgings after finding out his missus may have disappeared with the joint bank account?

"The title race was one of the best for years, and let's hope that continues. Thought it was harsh that Kudus's goal today wasn't included in the Goal of the Season. Cracking strike. Much better than the long distance Chelsea one, which I could have scored in my prime, and I'm sure quite a few on here too."

"With 6 games to go there was 1 point separating 3 teams. Had Arsenal beat us or Villa, they would be celebrating tonight. City hardly 'cruised' to the title."

It's down to the quality of manager. We've been here before when Ferguson absolutely dominated for the red half of Manchester and now it's Guardiola taking City to that level of dominance. We never complained of a lack of competition when Ferguson swept sides away and I don't see a pack of competition now when Liverpool and Chelsea have both won the League during Guardiolas time here. He just so happened to win a shit load of trophies at all the other times using less money than others in recent times. Chelsea have been bankrolled more than Man City throughout and yet only have 1 League title to their name since he's been here. That's clearly not down to money but quality management.

"Four on the trot is destroying the premier league. One of the things that made our league was not that the sides that were necessarily the best, but that it was a really competitive league. From game to game and over the season. It’s been clear for months that city were going to cruise through again. Hard to see anyone challenging them next year either."
