Re: Pochettino gone
Chelsea are an even worse run club than we are . Which not half takes some doing . It must be down to them wanting to sell players and pochettino getting upset over it . It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up returning to the N17 mob .

Re: Pochettino gone
"As people have said, LONG lists of clubs interested in De Zerbi and Poch. But that’s what amazes me about West Ham. We’re the 16th (approximately) biggest club side in the world by revenues. The 7th biggest in the wealthiest league in football. Happy to give Lopetegui a chance to show what he can do, of course. But we should be in the market for the likes of Poch etc in future."
Re: Pochettino gone
"I'm pretty comfortable with Jollop in charge, I'd rather take a manager that wants to be here than try to convince a couple of twonks that performed as badly as Moyes to come, fuck that. Yeah Di Zerbi likes the tippy tappy stuff with his fuckin nineties Nu-Metal Barnet but I'm not sure I want to watch that either to be honest. Poch appears to have been found out as a manager and anyone that wants to build their side around tiresome dog chasing a balloon topknot wanker Gallagher is possibly a dangerous maniac that must be stopped. It's FloppyCheesecake, it's probably a sensible decision rather than an exciting one and next season sou d's like it's going to be good compared to the misery Moyes has inflicted on us this season. Let's not be getting all tumescent for any of these other cunts, they ain't coming and that's probably for the best."

Re: Pochettino gone
"Poch often takes several months to get his players used to his system. He plays a higher-tempo version of most 4-2-3-1 (or 4-1-4-1) line-ups and, when he first arrives at clubs, the players’ fitness has tended to be an issue - as well as the tactical changes. It’s one of the reason he tends to favour/develop younger players, too. Not too many 30-something sprinting around in his sides. Same at Spurs (I think Son talked openly about this). He always needs a few months to bed in, unless it’s a weak league. Since February, Chelsea have been flying. I went to their game against Newcastle - and they beat the Geordies quite easily. They’ve probably made a mistake getting rid of him at this point: next season would have been the time to judge him. But fuck ‘em - it’s Chelsea! Long may they suffer! Too late now, with Lopetegui already coming in, but Poch would do well here with some time. Won’t happen under Sullivan, but he’s the sort of manager we ought to be in the market for if we were to be genuinely ambitious."
Re: Pochettino gone
"RDZ is a terrific coach and would be an unbelievable coup for us. His teams play good football, and he looks to attack and doesn't mind playing the youth. Unlucky this season with injuries, seems similar situation to Poch, disagreement with owner over transfer policy/funds"

Re: Pochettino gone
Poch has a history of bringing through young and homegrown players particularly at Southampton and Tottenham so I would of been pleased to see him take the reins. Whether we would of been able to entice him is another matter. He probably wants a champions league club.

Manuel 12:17 Wed May 22 Totally agree. RDZ looks broken. I think he will go back to Italy. Feet up for the summer and then there will be a queue of Italian clubs looking to employ him. Poch I do like but I just wonder if he has lost his magic. Never looked comfortable at PSG. And its taken him an age to get Chelsea clicking. I think he may be a busted flush.

"Rossal - Take your point about the irony of us getting this done early, but personally I wouldn't want RDZ, think he's trouble, egotistical and a bit volatile, I like Poch but not sure if it would be a good idea for him to jump straight back in, he's probably drained after dealing with that circus every day."

Re: Pochettino gone
Chelsea has been a shit show but in the last while he seemed to have sorted them out a bit with 5 wins in a row and claiming 6th & European football Happy to see them rip it up and start again Oh and when are they going to be punished for the self admitted FFP offences which came to light during the new owners due diligence?
Re: Pochettino gone
"Row over transfer policy and I think the club want to sell Gallagher who Poch made captain and built his team around Typical us though, the one poxy time we get something sorted early RDZ and Poch become available within days I'd swap both of them in a heartbeat for J Lop"

"I agree with russ, he must have something lined up elsewhere. I can't stand the cunts, but he got them playing some decent football in those last couple of months and most importantly the players looked happy. You can never rule out the yank making another change, it makes you wonder if any of these owners actually watch the games or know what they're watching. a case in point, fantasy island dave and his gooner sidekick sticking by that jock minge as he shit the bed for two years"
Re: Pochettino gone
All decent managers are lured there. There’s always a nice pay off when it inevitably goes tits up too.
Re: Pochettino gone
Leonard Hatred 9:26 Wed May 22 Moyes to Ipswich would be like BFS trying to keep Leeds up a couple of years ago. That job will be a hiding to nothing.

Re: Pochettino gone
"Just when you think Chelsea cannot become anymore of a nut house, this happens. 2 defeats in 15 games. Poch looked like he had finally found a system and style that was working. Finished the season as one of the top form sides. Boehly gave Poch verbal assurances and support a month ago - So I can only assume this is Poch decision. Probably sick of working in a mental home and also may have been told that they are having to sell to balance books. Just had enough. Will be flabbergasted if Di Zerbi goes there. Seems an educated bloke. And came from a good sensible set up at Brighton so not sure why he would jump into this fire."
Re: Pochettino gone
I would have had him here. Most people need some time away from football after managing that basket case though.

McKenna seems to a bit busy at the moment. Maybe he’ll find time for an interview at Brighton. Maybe not. I’m sure Moyes will though.

Re: Pochettino gone
"It's a bit of a shock based on how they finished the season but Poch has been hinting for a while now he could be off, seems to be a lot more to it than just results. This Yank must be a very hard bloke to work for, good luck to the next coach there. Joke of a club these days."
