Friday Night Music Thread
Making a return guest appearance. Just seen Diana Ross do a cover of I Will.Survive. I dont even remember her doing but it wasn't good. What for you are the best and and worst covers you've heard. For me: Best: Tears of A Clown - The Beat Worst - Morissey's version of That's Entertainment. Over to you....

"If only there was a thread with close to 18,000 replies on it to discuss music. Sorry, this is specifically for a FRIDAY. Silly me!"

Great shout on All.Along The Watchtower Zeb. Oh and any cover by Robson & Jerome is shit.
Re: Friday Night Music Thread
"Best: Jimmy Hendrix - All along the watchower Worst: William Shatner - Lucy in the sky with diamonds Tha latter has to be listened to believe although he redeemed himself with a superb cover of Common People. Actually the entire Has Been album is wonderfiul. Highlights being his poem about finding his wife dead in the swimming pool after she commited suicide (which is genuinely moving) and a superb track with him and Henry Rollins, off all people, freestyle ranting about the things that infuriate them accompanied by Adrian Belew torturing his guitar."

Re: Friday Night Music Thread
Side any amount of posting is attention seeking of a kind as you are generally expecting a response. We'll.park.that though ad if it offends you you can always give it a swerve.. Another cover I heard recently that I had never heard before was Daddy Cool by Placebo. Total banger

Re: Friday Night Music Thread
Well no because I am.not listening to those songs...and that us a what are you listening to now Thread. I used to do a Friday night music thread back in the day snd just thought it'd be a nice distraction.. Besides given I am.only on here now and then I can hardly be accused of attention seeking.

Re: Friday Night Music Thread
Couldn't you have just put this in your other music thread Debz? Or are you intent on being just another one of those attention seeking WHOer's?
