Father's for Justice
Anyone used them? Feels very much like a money making scheme. Can't join the community without paying the 300 first consultation which I'm guessing will tell me exactly what I already know. Are they not supposed to offer the same legal advice but cheaper. Seems I need to give them 300 quid to speak about my case where they will tell me to speak to a mediator. Then 1595 and still no solicitor lol. But they say don't use a solicitor. Cam anyone just reassure me they are the real deal. I have a solicitor who is draining me financially and then I read FFJ and it says don't use them use us. Any good advice? Please no dickhead comments cos quite frankly this isn't the thread for it. Someone will feel my pain soon and u taking the piss could make me choose u. Be kind fellas. Touchy subject.

Re: Father's for Justice
"FWIW, when It was obvious my marriage had irretrievably failed, I got out of Dodge to ensure the...my...kids did not have to live in a toxic environment. It seems, like you, that we had to fight for parental access (their mother initially forbade them from calling me dad and Xmas/birthday presents I sent never reached them). Fast-forward a couple of years (it seemed immeasurably longer) I finally got weekend access and my kids, the most important people here, who seemed to relish the contact - so much so that after the first contact visit (under supervision from a welfare worker) was deemed a complete success (and all subsequent visits were unsupervised (much to the chagrin of my ex, who would attempt anything and everything ,to stop such contact). Bottom line is that about 9 months after gaining legal access, my children were unceremoniously dumped on me by their mother and spent the rest of their childhood living with me (which, if I'm honest completely fucked my plans at the time). Long story, short ending, we all lived happily ever after, so never give up hope - your son will know what's going on, even if he currently lacks the vocabulary to talk about it."

"Darlo Nah, this requires money and tenacious barister or brief. I'm good. I'm full of fight. Actually I'm.also helping a fellow hammer at moment..but I'm spending so much money on a brief for a case I WILL WIN but someone told me that I'm doing the wrong thing and should go through FFJ but their website just seems a bit ""scammy"" like u can't join the community without paying 300 for consultation but in next breath they say don't use solicitors. Thanks for checking all. I'm good. Frustrated but fighting. Now let's see my man josh Taylor roll back the years I hope lol xxx"
Re: Father's for Justice
Always better for both sides and the children if you can just resolve between yourselves. Of course that isn't always possible. No experience with Fathers for Justice I'm afraid. I wish you all the best.
