I remember visiting the Bernabeu as a tourist in the 90s. Even then I found them to be far less welcoming that Barcelona where when I visited the Nou camp on the same trip.

"Eerie - Would agree with that except I have no recollection of the people when I was there, miserable, happy, whatever - You ask them for a beer or food and if they know where a particular Irish pub is and that's about it. Local natives behavior makes no odds to me. I bet you're one of these that when reviewing a hotel you comment how wonderful and helpful Pedro was on the front desk ''he even offered to carry my bags'' :-)"

"Madrid is, without doubt, the shittest city I've ever been to. Found it dull, and the people were the most miserable I've ever encountered. They do, however, have the greatest football club there's ever been."

Hopefully the dortmond supporters will be proud of their teams efforts and drown their sorrows. As for Madrid fans I suppose a few of them Are alright but most will think it’s their entilteld to win the champions league for the 15thtime and fuck off to bed. From my limited experience they are absolute wankers

Just wasn't happening for Dortmund tonight. Feel sorry for them. The air of entitlement to RM celebrations is grating.

"I called it at the start of the new season after just a handful of games that Bellingham will end up getting Ballon D'or, La Liga and Champions League with Madrid. That'd 2 out of 3 and on course for the 3rd.. I even remember having a heated debate with a couple of Gooners I know that out of Bellingham and Odegaard, Bellingham is the better player and most likely to get the Ballon D'or next. They weren't having a bar of it but I bet they are now..."

Well we could all have written the script couldn’t we. Lucky lucky cunts but it’s just what they do. Really feel for Dortmund on another night this could have been very different.

Ref needs to calm down with the cards. He's going to ruin the game.

Really fun game so far. Dortmund will regret spurning a few glorious chances here. Real Madrid are charmed in this competition.

Don’t mind Lenny Kravitz but it’s basically a Pepsi ad Need to drive this SuperBowl bollocks out and just play the game 3 pitch invaders in the first minute.

"Just turned it on to see some sort of concert with Lenny Kravitz. It’s not the fucking Super Bowl. Embarrassing shit. It doesn’t need it. Also, I’d love Dortmund to win for the sake of Terzic and Haller but Real will do this. They just fucking win in the champions league."
