"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?

"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

"I took, hopefully, my last ever anti-depressant today. As if documented on here, I’d had some really shit times over the last few years, and they definitely helped me. But enough is enough, other than a wobble when my nan died earlier this year, I’ve been on the up for a while now - so took the decision to come off them six weeks ago. Been supported by my GP the whole way, and fair play to her given what’s going on, she’s still had a video call with me a coupe of times every week to make sure all is still on track. But the big message form this is that things can absolutely get better"

Trolling and insulting each other on a mental health thread? Take a look at yourselves. Think before you press 'Post Message'.

"Alfs 6:05 Sat Apr 4 I felt similar when I decided to give up commuting (public transport and/or driving myself). That extra unpaid stress even before the day starts of ""Will I get to the station in time to catch my train to the office?"", ""Will I get a seat?"", ""Will there even be a train at all?"", only to repeat the whole thing 8/9/10 or more hours later. That's on top of being packed in like sardines every day. And a day at the office. Hopefully, many will now not need to return to that ""normal"", stress-laden way of life; if your employer realises this means they can dispense with an office or two in the process, they may actually start to encourage it more."

I don't know if I'm alone here but I've found the past two weeks quite calming. A feeling of being able to step back and reflect. And to be thankful for what you have.
