Anxiety/depression
"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?
"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

Re: Anxiety/depression
"I have never really had a clue exactly what a panic attack is, so I looked i up.. A panic attack is a brief episode of intense anxiety, which causes the physical sensations of fear. These can include a racing heartbeat, shortness of breath, dizziness, trembling and muscle tension. Panic attacks occur frequently and unexpectedly and are often not related to any external threat. After reading that I have one at least once a week, probably more."
Re: Anxiety/depression
"Hi mate, it’s situational and there’s fuck all I can do until the situation is resolved, which is why I’m having a panic attack! Stress is a fucker but sometimes you need to go through stressful times to get to the better times so it’s KBO"

Re: Anxiety/depression
"I had a panic attack this morning, first one I’ve had in 24 years and first that wasn’t drugs related. What surprises me is how I’ve felt absolutely terrible all day: nausea, inability to concentrate, just generally very ill and have done nothing at work all day. No way could I work if I was getting these on the regular, I really feel for people going through this"
Re: Anxiety/depression
"NS, yea I did feel for my just-turned-18 twins when the pandemic broke. A couple of months of finally being allowed in pubs and it was all pulled from under them. What’s supposed to be the best years of your life suddenly turn to a bit of a shit fest as you’re isolated from friends and social life. My kids seem to have got through it ok ( but they worked all through so still had a decent level of social interaction ). But out of their circle of friends I do know of one who’s on anti-depressants. Not to say there aren’t others amongst them that I don’t know of though. How’s your daughter now ?"

"Can you apply for voluntary bankruptcy, 67? My brother did this after he made a trip to Thailand and seriously overspent. https://www.debt.org.uk/what-is-voluntary-bankruptcy/ I don't know all his details but understand his credit rating is now clean as he has about 3 credit cards he can use without any issues.."

Sounds nasty Fraser. Good work ted I got a call from a bloke who I knew fro. When I lived in N17. The 3 letters for me. One was a high court judgement against me for 6k +. Its due to the good work of my Ltd company account who happens to be a hammer. Does anyone know now I can appeal this ?

"White Pony 1:44 Fri Jun 24 The internet is no place for people with fragile minds. Not knocking this thread at all because some may have nobody to turn to but in general I believe stick with close and trusted friends in the ‘real world’ I’ve been there, didn’t go near any form of social media for 6 weeks, all you see is people with seemingly better lives than you which just puts you in a spiral"

Re: Anxiety/depression
Finally after 5 months of tapering off Fentanyl patches from 75mg-50mg-25mg-12mg I'm now off them and on Morphine sulfate 10mg for a week the 5mg also for a week then it's an end to opiates ! I feel so much better anxiety seems to have gone and hopefully won't return I'd rather live with this pain than have that awful feeling every day ! My pharmacist has been superb in helping me come off these feckers. Thought are with all those suffering on here for what ever reason and hope that all your lives improve.
Re: Anxiety/depression
"White Pony, With respect and without prejudice I disagree. Look back at the whomails we have shared. Perhaps I was a little zealous. That said I have sent one poster on here a decent amount of cash, in the Hope I can help. What’s irritating is the poster you tried to help, changes names and then starts the same chat under a different guise. For all those that are suffering I sympathise, I hope you find peace and get better."

"Thanks, Tom I do not a driving licence. Grapes I know mate it's been a struggle of late but I must carry on. I spoke to a psychiatrist yesterday for triage and he gave 2 numbers for west Kent. The problem is I have no idea where I will be living time this will this time next week. They took 7 days last time. I am not at an official address now so I cannot get support when I fall out of work which has been frequent."

"67 wishing you better times ahead. If there's one thing I've learned over my 60+ years it's that life's full of ups and downs. The key is to hang on in there on the downs, because ups ALWAYS come eventually after downs. Stay positive for yourself and your loved ones."
