Anxiety/depression

Post Tomshardware »

"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?

"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

"Ted that’s scary mate and I’m so glad you made it My uncle lived alone when he had something similar happen 22 years ago amd it didn’t end well for him, my Dad found him 2 days later when he went to his flat. Not nice and I’m sure you’re aware of the risks but shows what you have to think about now and the questions you have to ask All the best mate"

Morning lads Well what a week this has been I thought I was going along nicely with my Varices being banded and then last Saturday it all kicked off one of my Varices ruptured well to cut a long story short I filled up 4 buckets of blood and that's without what came out of my Arsenal ! Ambulance was here in 15 mins took 20 mins to get to Colchester (All this info is from Mrs Ted) team of 10 doctors dived into me but my BP was so dangerously low and they ask my wife if she would like to come round to where I was incase I didn't make it ;-( Well as you can see I did thank God make it ....I now have loads of out patient apps and my first question will be why did it happen ? will it happen again ? Anyway with all this negative shit spewed out by the BBC regarding the NHS and the Ambulance medics along with my wife and daughter the NHS saved my life for which I'm eternally grateful ........ By the way I got to see Benny's goal before I passed out

"zebthecat 11:29 Fri Jan 6 Kind of killed my dad as well, mainly because he refused further treatment. The operation to seal the lesions was ok, but he had to have a total blood transfusion each time which completely wiped him out. Just phoned me up and told me to come to hospital in Grantham as he was signing out. He was totally sangfroid about it, just said he'd had enough of these cunts poking him about and talking to him like a kid. He didn't really drink until he hit about 40, when he made up for it, mainly with strong red wine, nothing else really."

Glad you are good Ted - keep it up. A friend's husband died of an oesophogeal bleed (he was a lovely bloke but a huge alcoholic). Such a shame.
