He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

Another would be the context - police injured during what is arguably an insurrection led by the US president at the heart of US democracy and in defiance of an emphatic presidential election result is a remarkable event. Another would be perpetuation of a narrative. Media love to return to a well covered story not least because they have footage and commentators lined up. In the UK police are generally revered too. Yvonne Fletcher and Keith Blakelock are forever in the British psyche and quite righty too. As for that matter is Harry Roberts (our mate apparently).
