And Younkin isn’t really anti-trump - he made a lot of the same appeals at trump (the racism around crt nonsense as well as other dog whistles, while trying to put a little distance between himself and trump personally - but don;t read too much into it - Virginia always turns against the newly elected presidency - after Dems swept the board in the 2008 election they lost Virginia by 17 points in 2019, and also lost New Jersey.
