My work isnt televised and noone knows who I am so there would be no point in my employer making such a request.

Free speech of course doesnt entitle you to say ANYTHING & EVERYTHING. There are laws against hate speech (be it homophobic or racial say) or threatening I couldnt for example turn up at Hermit Road's house with a knife and when i see him being greeted by a kiss from his boyfriend after work threaten to kill him because I think his homosexuality is an affront to God and evil.
